I had the privilege of staying in the Ludwig Suite, a space of refined luxury and thoughtful detail. The suite pays homage to King Ludwig II of Bavaria, reflecting both romanticism and grandeur in its design. From the plush furnishings to the serene view of the gardens, every aspect of the room was flawless and deeply atmospheric. The Marie Suite, named after Queen Marie of Prussia, offers a similarly regal experience. It is a celebration of elegance, femininity, and classic style – perfect for guests seeking a peaceful yet inspiring retreat. What truly elevates Hotel Villa Raab is its staff. Warm, attentive, and exceptionally professional, they made my stay seamless and memorable. A particular word of heartfelt thanks to Markus Kirchheim, whose honesty and integrity shine brightly. After misplacing my wallet at the nearby château, Markus found and returned it to me – completely intact. This act of kindness spared me a potentially devastating situation, and I remain deeply grateful. Hotel Villa Raab is not just a place to stay – it’s an experience. Wide array of breakfast options for every taste. Very fresh and tasty, beautifully presented for guests. Coffee and tea available to order also, which is a nice touch. Overall the breakfast was wonderful! It was a very comfortable 2 week stay. With the host being very kind and helpful.

Hotel Klingelhöfer is walking distance (3-5 min) to the beautiful old town with nice shops and restaurants. Parking is easy in front of the door or a separate parking lot for guests. Excellent breakfast, nice rooms in historical and nicely renovated buildings. The staff is very nice and helpful. Rooms are always clean. It is very good value for the price.

I was travelling by car and was late for the check-in, but when I contacted hotel through booking, they kindly told me that they’ll wait for me, which was pleasant. Room was clean, tidy though small. But I only needed a place to relax and the next day to continue my travelling. I also enjoyed the breakfast, it was various, light and on time.

Very nice Gasthaus situated in a rural village. Rooms were spotlessly clean. Very quiet place, we could not hear a sound from outside. Friendly staff, had a good schnitzel at the restaurant.

We use the hotel as a stop on the way from Denmark to Switzerland. The hotel is situated in a small town in the old center. There is no dinner restaurant on the hotel but 5 minutes was to Brastübchen which is really good. Also a quiet walk in the old city center after a long day of driving is really nice. Also book the room with breakfast which is good, large and plentiful. It is cheaper to book incl. breakfast than to buy it in the hotel.
