The atmosphere of the entire hotel was calm and elegant, and the staff were consistently helpful, kind, and professional-always making sure we had everything we needed.
We especially loved the restaurant by the pool-it became our go-to place each day. The food, the setting, and the service there made every meal feel special.
Overall, it was one of the most relaxing and enjoyable stays we’ve had. We felt truly taken care of and would come back without hesitation. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful, high-quality getaway.

United KingdomWe had a fantastic stay at this brand-new hotel, which impressed us from the moment we arrived. The modern décor is stylish and fresh, and the beachfront location is unbeatable, offering beautiful views and a constant and welcome sea breeze.
Although we didn’t spend much time on the beach itself, as the sea isn’t ideal for swimming beyond paddling, the nearby jetty offered some decent snorkeling, though it could get quite busy and hectic. Once the hotel’s own jetty is completed, it will definitely enhance the experience for guests.
The bedrooms are beautiful and very comfortable. Highly recommend booking a swim-up room.
The pools are spotlessly clean, and we especially loved the double loungers in the infinity pool, which were a big hit. One standout feature was the permanent sunshades and pergolas over all the sunbeds…no more battling with umbrellas!
The dining experiences were another highlight. The buffet was consistently high in quality, and we really appreciated being able to book five different à la carte dinners throughout our stay. As a bonus, both the beachfront and Italian restaurants also offer unlimited à la carte options for lunch. The food was absolutely delicious, with generous portions and great variety.
One of the most memorable moments of our trip was a wonderful horse ride along the beach right in front of the hotel. The nearby stables (just a five-minute drive away) made it easy to arrange, and it’s an experience I would highly recommend.
Another good thing that the hotel offer is free transportation in the hotel golf buggies to nearby shops/attractions or just simply for a ride along the beachfront. You can also hire your own self-drive buggies nearby.
What truly made our holiday special was the outstanding level of service from all the staff. Everyone from the gardeners and cleaners to the restaurant teams, were friendly, professional, and welcoming.

• The main restaurant offers good food, but during my two-week stay, I felt that it lacked variety.
• Breakfast (7:00–10:00): There were always two types of salmon, fresh juices, smoothies, omelets, poached eggs, pancakes, waffles, strawberries, and plenty of fruits.
• Lunch (12:30–14:30): Always a choice of meat or fish. The pasta with garlic, shrimp, and cream in the main restaurant is highly recommended.
• Splash Bar (12:30–16:30): Great pizza, crispy chicken schnitzel, and fresh salads.
• Bay View (12:30–16:00): Highly recommend the salmon sandwich and cheesecake.
• Dinner (18:30–21:00): Tasty dishes in the main restaurant and both à la cartes.
• Tao à la carte: Delicious soups and sushi.
• Bay View à la carte: Highly recommend the baked salmon.
• Also, great beachfront restaurants at Jaz Riviera and Iberotel.

RussiaWe had an incredible stay at Wadi Sabarah. It’s a very unique property and architecturally stunning. It offered real respite for the end of our trip, so relaxing and tranquil. The open air bar and restaurant was a perfect setting for breakfast and dinner overlooking the pool and out to the desert, mountains, sea and the stars. A special shout-out to the chef as meals were well thought-out and were a delicious spread of Egyptian fare that changed each day. Staff, especially Nabil, Ahmed and Adham at the restaurant, were super accommodating and attentive and sincerely prioritised the comfort of the guests. The room was modern and well-designed with a huge balcony overlooking the sea. All the furniture, linen and appliances were new. We were provided with the snorkeling gear free of charge for the entirety of our stay. It’s located remotely far away from all the hustle and bustle but they offered to organize all the necessary transportation and tours around the area. One should expect European prices though. Since it’s a small designer lodge, you should come here if you want to avoid the chaos of a typical resort, so no loud music or animation. One of the gems of the lodge is their library with hundreds of books about Egypt and the Middle East and antique items from the area. We stayed three nights but could easily spend more time there and will be happy to come back. Absolutely thrilled to discover such a treasure in Egypt that was built with love and care. I can’t stress enough how special this place is.

Hurghada is a very busy place and popular with all nationalities. I was diving every day so 8 hours a day at sea. I didn't use the shopping centre this time but have done so in the past and it was great. It used to be that you would get harassed continually by traders but not so much these days they really have backed off. The Alaya hotel guests has a private beach area at Coraya bay, my husband and I were given a lift there by a golf cart. Alaya staff greeted us at the beach area ,attending to our needs. providing beach chairs, umbrella and bar service . The swimming are is great, water is clean and warm. Some places offer excellent takeaway food. There is a public beach a little further away (a short walk across a small desert area) with exceptional underwater flora and fauna. Bring shoes for walking in the water. Please stay above or near the coral (personally, I didn't know there were risks to swimming too far from the reefs, namely sharks. But I didn't see any. On the other hand, there were some exceptional fish! Port Ghalib is a tourist spot but much, much quieter than Hurghada. If someone tries to sell you something, just say ‘La, chokram’ with a smile and everything will be fine. Don't forget to tip a little, as Egyptians earn very little (around €400 per month for a family of four). For activities, I recommend Royal Sea Tours (royalsea-tours.com), who are really great. I love Marsa Alam and Abu Dabab most, as far as the Red Sea goes. My favourite place of all time is the Concorde Moreen Hotel, with the Hilton coming a strong second. We only ate at the hotels, because our time was limited. I used the taxi service offered online by Booking.com, which I found to be very efficient and reasonable. But I am also a seasoned traveller in Egypt and do not find it difficult to negotiate with taxi drivers. (It can be very useful to ask Chat GPT first what an average trip should cost you, if you are unsure, and then use that as a guideline for your negotiations.) It's an amazing experience to go out on a boat, but picking the right one can make the difference.
