The location is great, 2 minutes walk to the metro station Liceu, a lot of attractions are accesible on foot as well. The hotel was incredibly clean, towels changed daily and cleaning done daily. Water, iron, coffee and tea in the room.

Everything! The staff was amazing in every department, friendly yet professional. The room spacious - clean, and nice view from the balcony. I was offered a piece of cake for my bday which shows that they take care of their customers, little attentions like this goes a long way! The ambiance at night (it was Sant Joan) with live music was so cool! The pools area is also very beautiful. The breakfast buffet was a real feist, so many options! I really loved staying there. We will return for sure. I recommend 1000%

I enjoyed my staying here. I especially want to thank a gentleman staff. While I was waiting for a taxi in front of the hotel with all my bags, a stranger came to me to ask me to be cautious. It was a wonderful place. We arrived late and were greeted by two friendly dogs. Breakfast choice was limited but high quality. My husband and I enjoyed the croissants and fresh eggs (from the hens outside!). We arrived late, but it was not an issue.

Our stay at The One Barcelona was truly a wonderful experience from start to finish. The room layout was unique and thoughtfully designed—different from the standard hotel setup, but in the best possible way. We absolutely loved it. The location couldn’t have been better, allowing easy access to everything we wanted to see and do. Service throughout our stay was consistently quick, efficient, and professional, making us feel genuinely well taken care of without ever needing to ask twice. Breakfast was another highlight. The à la carte offerings were top-notch, with fresh, high-quality options that made every morning feel like a treat. Honestly, there wasn’t a single thing we could complain about. The One Barcelona exceeded our expectations, and we would not hesitate to stay there again.

    During my stay in Hospitalet de Llobregat, Barcelona, I enjoyed being just a few subway rides away from the lively city center while still escaping the constant crowds. With several subway stations nearby, it was easy to get around—within just 10 minutes I could reach iconic spots like the Sagrada Família or even head out toward San Sebastián Beach. The quieter atmosphere of the neighborhood provided a more relaxed experience, allowing me to enjoy the scenery at a slower pace. Local cuisine was another highlight—tapas, fresh seafood, and other authentic dishes made every meal memorable. The area was also conveniently close to Josep Tarradellas Barcelona–El Prat Airport, making both arrival and departure stress-free and well connected.

    Love this beach town!

    Love this beach town! It is fun but also relaxing and the restaurants are great, the beaches are beautiful, particularly the Balmins beach. The shopping is amazing, great variety and the town is absolutely beautiful!

    Prat is a "normal" area with many regular Spanish residents. It is far enough away from the main attractions to recharge, though close enough to access the hot spots easily. Lots of transportation options available depending on your budget. We stayed 3 nights initially in the Barcelona Beach area and it was nice to relax a bit in Prat before we flew home. It felt safe and was clean.

    Great little town with friendly people.

    Great little town with friendly people. Beach is gorgeous and easily accessible by bus or train. Don't expect everyone to speak English as this is a very spanish town.... this is one of the major selling points to travelling here. Its such a happy, chilled out and friendly place.

    We liked the area and the beaches.

    We liked the area and the beaches. We were not expecting what we found also because a few years ago we went in the same area (Calella) and we were very happy with the hotel, the food and everything else. At that time we had all included breakfast, lunch, dinner with all soft and any alcoholic drinks included. Unfortunately this time that hotel was booked up for the time we wanted. But Calella is very nice and quite, I will recommend to anyone, but not the hotel we were in this time.

    Santa Susanna is a lovely resort, with lots of places to eat, drink and take in entertainment in the various hotels. There are plenty of shops and little stalls along the Boulevard. The beach was clean but the sand slopes sharply into the sea. Good transport links to Barcelona and neighbouring towns. My partner was using a mobility scooter and getting around Santa Susanna was fine as it’s very flat and although we could and did use buses and trains we found this very stressful. Definitely a resort for chilling not raving!

    What a beautiful place to stay.

    What a beautiful place to stay. Dario was a fantastic host, and nothing was too much trouble. I could have slept in the bed for weeks it was so comfy! I had to be a bit mindful with the stairs while wearing socks, but otherwise everything was pristine and very welcoming. Thanks for everything Dario - especially for the travel coffee you made for our trip back to the airport :)

    The general problem with the Costa Brava north of Barcelona...

    The general problem with the Costa Brava north of Barcelona is the coarse sand. You really need beach shoes otherwise it's uncomfortable to walk around the beach or going in the water with all the stones. Coming out the water is a nightmare without shoes. Also, the shore gets very steep very fast. 3 meters into the water, and you are completely submerged in most places. Completely different from the France side, with the dusty extra-fine sand and family friendly shores around Camargue. Costa Brava is wilder and more for swimmers. Cote d'Azur for safe children bathing. Blanes has a very nice panorama from the Castell de Sant Joan hill. Lots of things to see around also. Arts and history.
