The location is incredibly serene and peaceful, surrounded only by other cabins spaced out at a perfect distance, with the soothing sound of the river in the valley below. The view was simply breathtaking! From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed—the hosts had already heated the cabin for us, making it cozy and inviting. Everything we needed for a comfortable stay was provided: a well-equipped kitchen (including a moka pot, toaster, pans, and even a dishwasher), a reliable heating system, a hot shower, and a charming fireplace with firewood ready to use. Vega de Pas is a little town in the North of Palencia. It is a lovely place to spend some family quality time in a rural environment. You can do a lot of things like hiking, swimming in the river, relaxing, enjoying the countryside, eating lovely local food in the restaurants available in town... You can swim in the river.
You can swim in the river. There is a green trail which goes for miles if you like to walk, all level too. Thought the restaurant by the bridge was expensive and pretentious. Better to eat at the hotel. Supermarket about 25 mins walk stocks everything. Didn’t have time to see the cave paintings, so will hopefully return.Guest review byJulietUnited Kingdom
