The fact that breakfast is designed by renowned master chef Sara LaFontain says it all. Variety of tastes and gourmet display in a pleasant environment in the Arctic restaurant. I stayed in a room with sauna. The room interior design is really unique and not to mention the quality coffee provided in the room. Staff was always available for additional info and great conversation. Would definitely come back.

One of the best vacations 🤍 All the staff is very friendly and hospitable. The food is definitely a highlight with good and fresh variety for every day. Being also so close to the river (and far enough from the city) means that there’s a good chance to see the northern lights just by walking around the area. The organised tours were great, especially with the Huskys and the Finnish sauna experience with Ice bathing. The rooms are comfortable and cozy. We enjoyed the time a lot.

The room was pretty spacious and very clean. We had the privacy of the whole igloo to ourselves, so it was like having your own little house in Finland. The Santa Claus village is just a walk away as well, which was very convenient. The staff are pretty friendly. Must not forget to mention the amazingly kind chef who cooked us an early breakfast on our request, as we were due to go to the airport before the usual breakfast timing. We cannot thank her enough for her kindness.

    It's a big surprise for us because we didn't expect our room to have a large balcony from which you have a great view of the city river as well as the noon sunrise. The view is spectacular at night as well, with all the mist and fog that rise from the river. The hotel sauna and swimming pool are really great for relaxing after a day of activities in the extremely cold weather. The breakfast is great, with so much local food and variety. As the few local restaurants in Rovaniemi are always difficult to book, a breakfast here can easily compensate for the lack of a table for typical Finnish food.

    Summer trip to Rovaniemi: Lapland was in a heat wave which held us back a bit as it was rather humid. We enjoyed Arktikum very much, went swimming in the river, walked in the Arctic Gardens and explored the town centre. We planned some hiking but it was hotter than we expected. At end of July, sunset around midnight for only a short time, which is cool.
