I have stayed at "Lapland Hotels Bulevardi" many times and I have never regretted it. Great location, clean and quiet rooms, friendly staff, excellent breakfast. The hospitality, the rooms, and the breakfast will all exceed your expectations. Value for money without a doubt. I highly recommend the "Lapland Hotels Bulevardi". You should definitely stay here, if you can afford it.

We had requested our room in the theme of tranquility, because we love calm colours in the interior. Our request was fulfilled. We loved our room! Good breakfast! City is small, cozy, very nice and relaxing atmosphere. Very good to travel with kids - multiple kids attractions: parks, tropical gardens, science museum. As well as for adults - with local museums and kitchen.

Vantaa was a good place to stay out of Helsinki with much reasonable prices. The aviation museum is a must see and spent half a day there. The mall near the hotel was very good and spent a whole day there. We used Vantaa as a break between trips but would spend more time in future.

Go south to see the magnificent sea, there is a magnificent 20 km Rantaraitti road by the sea. You can walk, run and cycle there. The road is illuminated and really safe to move around, because the richest residents of Finland live next to the road. For example, the directors of listed companies with their families and residents of embassies. I have also lived there myself. Excellent location, in the city, but still very peaceful and...

Excellent location, in the city, but still very peaceful and quiet. Woke up to bird song! Went for morning runs on the riverside and through fields - and then took the 15-minute trainride to Helsinki city centre. Great!

Our primary reason for Vantaa was our need to be at the airport very early. The public transport runs super efficiently. We bussed into central Helsinki using 2 routes and both were excellent. Bus stops literally outside the apartment block. The train station is a brisk 10 minute walk away and again super service for Helsinki, the airport or connections to wider Finland.. Locally there's a a couple big supermarkets too.

The Helsinki metro runs through Espoo, and bus services are also very good. Tapiola is the cultural centre of Espoo, e.g. theatre, music. Also EMMA Museum of Modern Art. Sello in Leppävaara and Iso Omena in Matinkylä are great shopping centres.

A beautiful city, easy to walk around. Loved the architecture, the arts, the new library, walking around the harbour area, great shops, great cafes & restaurants .. will return definitely. The train station is central, great public transport service. Well done Helsinki ❤️

At this time of year, late April, some of the tourist...

At this time of year, late April, some of the tourist options dont operate as you might expect aka Hop on/off bus isnt that until into May, (convenient Tourist information at Senate Square in the City Centre. )Olympic Museum may be of interest but wont take that long to look round. Seems if you want the Salmon Soup you had better think about that early on a cold day - initially looks expensive but the pictures show large chunks of fish. Lake Tuulusa can be reached by bus from Kervo rail station - had as short stay there. Harbour boat trip was chilly so went inside after halfhour.

We stayed in Espoo for one night,then stayed four in Helsinki. It was the best way of enjoying the snow (being Irish it is a novelty )and enjoying the peaceful forest surrounding the hotel. It was a great start to our christmas break before going into the city. It was magical and I did a morning hike around the grounds of the hotel. My sons and I loved it.
