The room is very spacious and clean, with an especially great view. There is a large parking lot at the entrance. All the toiletries are from L’Occitane. It is also very convenient to get to the castle from the hotel. My husband left his card holder in the room, and they kept it for us for two days. We are really grateful for that.

Absolutely beautiful place right in the mountains. We were going to do more there but loved the hotel so much we just stayed there the whole time. Dinner was excellent and the staff are super friendly. They have lovely little cats wandering around too which makes it extra sweet. Very tranquil and relaxing place. We will definitely visit again. Parking was right there too.

    We really enjoyed our 2 night stay in the hotel, having made a last minute decision to escape the sweltering heat inland, and enjoy the cooler temperature at the coast. The hotel was really well located - approx 400m to a fabulous beach, with free onsite parking outside the door! The twin room was a good size and it, and the equally large bathroom were immaculately clean....and the AC was a joy during the hot nights! The owners couldn't do enough to assist - offering local maps and directions, restaurant recommendations, use of sun umbrellas and beach mats free of charge etc. I will have no hesitation about returning for another stay here or in recommending it to other guests!

    History in both the old town and Le Cite (the walled town) were what I went to Carcassonne for. It is small and compact with plenty of places to eat and lovely people. (and a great market on Saturday morning!) We didn't have a car, so weren't easily able to get away from Carcassonne, so our 5 days was probably slightly too long.

    Lots of interesting bars and restaurants situated on either side of the canal. The cathedral is well worth visiting. There is also Les Halles covered market. A large open market takes place on Sunday around the canal. If you are a fan of Charles Trenet then a visit to his house/Museum is an absolutely must ~ fascinating. It’s within easy walking distance just over the railway line.

    It is a little town with just one attraction as the Barbarosa fortress and the church next to it. And the greatest appeal is Pierre Richard winery 10 minutes away by car. But I absolutely fell in love with the town market, foods, wine and people. Real feeling of how perfect an ordinary town life can be, like a French film became the reality.

    Castelaundry is in the heart of Cassoulet country…we had some fabulous meals in local restaurants. It is also a stepping off point for boats on the MIDI canal. You can walk or bicycle along the paths beside the canal and watch the locks operating. Great place to visit and interesting villages nearby.

    The village was stunning, the people we met were friendly and welcoming. We would definitely recommend Leucate, it has many bars and restaurants, beautiful quaint streets and is surrounded by stunning scenery. It was a perfect stop for us.

    It a lovely town with a great square and very good restaurants. Markets are held on Friday morning. We ate at a great tapas bar Steph & Coco, and breakfast at the Boulangerie on the square , both well worth your custom.

    Very nice little town, the locals were friendly. It was not overrun with people, the beach being very broad and very well.maintained. we enjoyed that it was sandy and clean. The infrastructure was excellent and we loved the environmental awareness in the area. We visited several local restaurants and enjoyed them all, lots of very good seafood. Narbonne city was very scenic and beautiful, colorful and quaint.

    It's not a town if would recommend to visit unless to see family and friends. It has a good market every Wednesday but there not a lot else to recommend. It not historic or attractive to be honest, just a small French town is the best description.
