- From $105.57 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 788 reviewsThe room was always nice and warm, spacious and had a balcony. Daily cleaning services was a bonus, thank you! The hotel was very helpful with arranging a shuttle to the lifts, information on bus stops etc and most of all the family owned business allowed us a private ski instructor Matteo. Thanks Matteo for all the help as this was our first ski trip and me and my wife thoroughly enjoyed it! You helped us immensely and we were able to do a blue run or two, which I personally thought would only happen on our next trip. See you soon! PS, the staff, reception were all very professional and friendly, thank you! The every morning breakfast, WoW!Guest review bySheldonOman

- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Excellent - What previous guests thought, 132 reviewsA nice small hotel right next to the ski lifts. You only need five minutes on foot to reach the lifts. The hotel is beautiful with vintage decoration. It has a nice coffee and restaurant on the ground floor, which is also a plus. The receptionist, Mariano, is so nice and welcoming and also the girl in the bar is very kind. Overall a good stayGuest review byΜαριαGreece

Ski in ski out is perfect for people that are more than beginner, but a great feature outside the front door. Staff very helpful. Facilities also clean and well maintained. Plenty of restaurants and bars, many family run and same staff for many seasons. Some hotels have minibus service to slopes, a new thing for Relais but great service. Been going for years and great for a short or weeks trip.Guest review byalan - 8.0

If you're looking for accommodation close to the railway line at Oulx - Residence du Commerce is for you. We just wheeled our bags across the road - easy! We walked around Oulx the afternoon we got there - looking at its sights. And as we didn't have a booking at any of the restaurants in Oulx, we shopped at the supermarket and rustled up dinner in one of the apartments we had - with great success! It was a comfortable overnight stay on our way to the ski fields.Guest review bySusieAustralia - 8.0

Best place in Via Lattea for ski beginners, plenty of short and long green pistes. Great ski school instructors. But not very charming and lack of entertainment options for adults and kids. Restaurants are just ok. No real food options after 3pm, bad for skiers especially those doing ski lessons at lunchtime. Ice skating venue was not operating which is bad during ski season. Great balneo and spa.Guest review byMacaroniPenguinUnited States - 4.0

Although a lovely little town, the availability of taxis is very poor. When I came up from train station, the bus dropped me off at the town square, a nice man told me where to go & I had to walk with my luggage to Palace 1 as i could not find any taxi service & volunteers didn't know of any (I am 76 yrs. old & that was a major trek with luggage, if I had to go to Palace 2, I would have been in major discomfort). Return bus service from hotel to ski area was wonderful but was over at 5:15. Because of transportation & being sick, I did not eat much while there - I found a small grocery store & bought breakfast needs & did eat something at ski hill before returning for night but once back to hotel in evening did not go out as I did not know of transportation. I did find some on my last night but much too late (& expensive) to be useful. To be truthful, if I was feeling better I probably would have found other options, but in general not impressed with Sestriere. Another thing lacking is adequate wifi.Guest review byJOANNECanada - 10.0

Cute, small mountain village, that is probably buzzing in the winter, and was extremely cozy in the summer. People are still present, go on hikes, chill in the nature. You have clear water from little fountains on the street. Lovely. Would've easily stayed 2-3 more days (but travelled elsewhere in a 80km circle during, so if you plan on staying just in Claviere, 4-5 days should be enough for relaxing+hiking). Public transport is not really great, sadly the best option might be to rent a car in Oulx or Briancon if you're coming from that way (or Torino of course).Guest review byTrombitas - 10.0
Lovely traditional village with a few lively bars.
Lovely traditional village with a few lively bars. Great access to Milky Way ski area and excellent value for money. Short transfer time from Turin airport. Pizza bar in village centre served tasty pizza slices and great price, always friendly staff there! Had a lovely meal at L'Ortiché, more expensive, but superb fine dining with good wine.Guest review byAnonymousUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Wonderful ski resort, plenty of green and blue runs for beginners, with a great ski school. For the more advanced plenty of red and black runs with the choice to ski over to Italy. The village is pretty with plenty of eateries. There’s also a great pool and spa in the village.Guest review byLynnUnited Kingdom - 8.0
Sestriere is great, love the food in town and the skiing.
Sestriere is great, love the food in town and the skiing. But sadly we didnt get good snow til our last day so lots of runs were closed and the snow was very icy and crunchy. Id recommend later january or february for optimal conditions.Guest review bysarahIsrael - 8.0
No waiting lines, even in a high-season week.
No waiting lines, even in a high-season week. Great (often homemade) local Italian food on the slopes at affordable rates. It seems far from the Netherlands, however we experienced no traffic jams and the resort is accessible, (no high passes) while being at 1760m altitude. Lifts are generally slow though, but you have easy access to Montgenevere with generally more modern lifts (but this being a more well-known place there are some short waiting lines in high season)Guest review byMartijnNetherlands - 10.0

A great ski resort with loads of skiing for intermediate skiers. Lovely wide open blues and reds for cruising skiing. The main lift out of the resort is up a hill about 150m from the centre. There is a free ski bus but we rented a ski locker under the Clotes chairlift from ABC (office right in the centre of the village) and you get a lovely heated changing room and locker for your boots, skis, helmet and gloves. Highly recommended. There is also a slightly cheaper option just next to the chairlift but you need to put on/remove your boots outside, which is fine if the weather is OK.Guest review byLoicUnited Kingdom
