- From US$160.99 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 235 reviewsJust the best place to stay if you want a traditional pub in a great location, with fabulous friendly staff. Nothing is too much trouble at this lovely country pub and the rooms are spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The food is first class with great menu choices and the French twist adds to the whole experience. Breakfast is also superb and served with a smile, to set you up for a pleasant day. Great choice of walks from the doorstep in this beautiful small village, along with a friendly welcoming bar for that well earned drink, after a day out in the Dales.Guest review byEmmaUnited Kingdom
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.6Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 170 reviewsLittlebank House is the perfect get away in the Dales. In a secluded farm location but close to Settle and the Cavern Arms Pub. The room was big and clean with a great view. Breakfast was big and tasty both days. Richard & Trish were friendly and helpful offering advice and recommendations. It's the perfect place to stay for an escape to the Dales or to tackle the Three Peaks.Guest review byHarryCambodia

I liked it because the views are stunning and that it was a running farm. What, in my opinion, was the hard pillows. I used the bath towels as pillows. I think there should be a choice of hard or soft pillows.Guest review byPAULINEUnited Kingdom - 10

Settle is a picturesque village with lots of shops, pubs, cafes and independant stores. There are lots of scenic walks from the village centre. The Golden Lion is excellent for a meal and drink. The other bars are all friendly and prices are reasonable.Guest review byDeborahUnited Kingdom - 10

Clapham is a beautiful and tranquil village, perfect for anyone looking to escape the city life. Surrounded by hills, scenic walking trails, and lush greenery, it offers a refreshing connection to nature that’s hard to find elsewhere. The village itself has a charming, timeless feel with stone cottages, a gentle stream running through the centre, and a welcoming community atmosphere. It's also a great base for exploring nearby natural attractions like Ingleborough Cave and Gaping Gill, making it a popular spot for hikers and nature lovers.Guest review byBlood7WaysUnited Arab Emirates - 4.0

We should have booked somewhere else after working out the windows didn’t lock but gave the hosts the opportunity to resolve. They didn’t bother and I doubt it’s resolved now. New windows are really needed to resolve the issues. The accommodation was lovely and clean and beds were comfortable decor lovely and kitchen fully fitted out. It’s just a shame the windows didn’t lock and it faces into a car park. View was non existent. Wouldn’t stay again, was so tired when leaving because couldn’t sleep properly.Guest review byLisaUnited Kingdom - 10
Drive to Waddington was lovely, rolling hills and fab views.
Drive to Waddington was lovely, rolling hills and fab views. Cute village, very picturesque. Avoid the school run times as it’s a bottleneck. Waddington Arms Hotel wasn’t for me, food poor, savour was the glass of wine!Guest review byLesley - 6.0
It was a place to stay not a place to visit!
It was a place to stay not a place to visit! Its location was good. It has a railway station for those who could not drive there but you really need a car to get out of the village to visit more scenic areas.Guest review byMargaretUnited Kingdom - 10
A lovely village setting which encouraged peaceful vibes.
A lovely village setting which encouraged peaceful vibes. The well cared for nature of the village showed its intent. The Waddington arms was a late booking by us and proved way beyond our expectations. Great food especially the local dishes and a roaring fire to boot. The church was worth the visit as saw 3 sets of stained glass dedicated to women which is most unusual! Loved the local history readily available.Guest review byJean MacUnited Kingdom - 6.0
Disappointing.
Disappointing. The shops were well overpriced for the location. Didn't see any customers in them, either going in or out. A bit over rated Traffic in the centre was exceptionally busy for the size of the area.Guest review byElaineUnited Kingdom - 10

The lodge is immaculately presented, equipped with everything you need for a short break. It is obvious that the owners take great pride in their property and this is reflected in the quality of the little extras they provide, hand lotion, luxury towels, coffee maker , candles etc. It's location is 2 minutes walk from the main reception which houses a fantastic indoor heated pool and a bar which has separate areas for family, Sky etc. It's a perfect place for a short stay. We had our 2 daughters with us (age 8 & 10) who asked when can we go back? We hadn't even left yet !!! All in all, its pretty hard to fault giving the accommodation's cleanliness and locationGuest review byDavidUnited Kingdom - 8.0
