- From US$125.29 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Superb - What previous guests thought, 124 reviewsThe hosts are very friendly and I really enjoyed the little chat we had. Everything was very clean and the bed was comfortable. My room was small but everything was really thought out. The same goes for the breakfast: It's self-service but with great attention to detail. The building is beautiful too. There is a garden where I could sit and watch the stars. I only stayed one night, but I'd come back at any time and can only recommend this BnB.Guest review byDirkGermany

We enjoyed walking around the neighbourhoods, the friendliness of locals, nice range of pubs and excellent meals. We enjoyed walking thru the fields behind the top of Constitution Hill (furnicular). We spent lovely half a day at the National Library and surrounds. Beach and promenade is lovely and especially around the spit beyond the castle. Sublime walking in Aber town itself. we had just 2 full days, with one more, would take Rheidol Railway & Devil’s Bridge.Guest review byIan GarethCanada - 8.0
Cardigan is set in a beautiful part of Wales.
Cardigan is set in a beautiful part of Wales. There are plenty of beaches and little coastal towns worth visiting, plus it's not too far from towns such as Aberystwyth. The town itself could use a little updating, looking a bit gloomy in parts. It's a shame because there are some really nice shops and restaurants there that offer great food and unique products. Parking on the main street is easy, especially for disabled drivers like myself. There are quite a few blue badge bays, and the town is relatively flat.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

A lovely little place which was beautiful even with the harbour renovations in progress. Everyone was very friendly. You felt that it was still a community with lots of people speaking Welsh. That really added to our experience. We ate at The Harbour Master and Y Seler both excellent. Narrow roads were managed well considering the nature of the layout of the town and this added to its charm.Guest review byWendy - 8.0

Lampeter is a really lovely Welsh market town, we try to visit every summer to go to the Welsh Quilt Centre as they have a new exhibition every year. There are lots of lovely independent shops and places to eat and the locals are very welcoming.Guest review byAnneUnited Kingdom - 10.0

New Quay is a lovely little harbour village with loads of eating places and coffee shops. Not sign posted very well though to get to harbour and parking areas. Locals friendly. Loveliest surprise was seeing dolphins within minutes of arriving. Unfortunately the weather was awful on the weekend we went so didn't get to do boat trips or beach. Don't want to big it up too much as want to go back again and if loads of people get to know how lovely New Quay is then it could be overrun with tourists.Guest review byJustinUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Abusive managers, shouting using threatening and bullying behaviour because we took a wrong turn through the renovations to get to the pool. No apology when we complained, only more of the same. Please read previous poor reviews. We thought it was good there, but we left early as we were so shaken, upset and taken aback by this unprofessional, rude and totally undeserved behaviour. We advise you to think twice. Dirty rooms, outdated, bugs crawling on bed covers, floors and in the bathrooms, extractor not working, therefore water pouring down the walls.Guest review byKarenUnited Kingdom - 10.0
This was our first 'self-catering cottage' holiday.
This was our first 'self-catering cottage' holiday. We were stunned by the quality of the furnishings and the abundance of kitchen equipment and other items available for our use. The walks around the estate were enticing, but sadly age limits our mobility. Those who are able to enjoy the walks could have a very relaxing break without having to leave the estate. For a reasonable all-day breakfast The Woodlands near to Devil's Bridge falls is very handy. Further afield we found lots of information boards about industrial history etc., even down narrow minor roads apparently miles from anywhere, and look out for the 'Peaceful Places Trail'. We must mention the water supply at The Glen - it smells and is really not pleasant, but come prepared with bottled water and it needn't spoil your holiday.Guest review byDawnUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Tregar on is the gateway to one of the most spectacular mountain roads in Wales ,in fact the whole of the UK. It cuts through the Cambrian mountains between Tregaron and Landovery and is out standing. If you're staying at the Talbot hotel take a right out of the rear car park and enjoy, but beware this is an unclassified road which is more suitable for motorbikes than cars.Guest review byRichardUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Unless you have a specific agenda, there is not actually a lot to do in Pencader itself. When we were there, the pub had been closed so you had to drive or walk a long distance to sample a pub experience. Surrounding areas are beautiful and you are approximately 25 minutes away from beaches(New Quay for dolphin watching), if that is your thing. The School House garden was a good place to sit in the late evening.Guest review bySherileeUnited Kingdom
