It would have been good to know that you have to book ahead for the tour of the island bus as there were only two running when we were there. The people were all lovely and very friendly. Wonderful sights, beaches and independent shops. We are in an Indian restaurant which was excellent also an Italian restaurant which was also excellent. Both were easy to get to walking or by taxi. The local bus service was very good. The beaches are family and pet friendly but remember to check the tides! There are a lot of water activities - kite surfing etc.Guest review byVeronicaUnited Kingdom - 8.0

It’s a great place for families who love beach holidays.
It’s a great place for families who love beach holidays. It’s also great for those interested in history with all the occupation places to visit. There are plenty of good places to eat. We when to Crabby Jacks which has a varied menu. The local kiosks are also great places for a snack. It’s easy to get around either by car or public transport which is very regular. Lots of people came with bikes.Guest review byAnonymous - 10
Lots of different eateries .
Lots of different eateries . We enjoyed food at The Salty Dog and also from The old Court House. Both restaurants were good value. There is another place The Boathouse and Anchor which is on the harbour. If you want a loud bustling atmosphere stay downstairs, For a pure dining experience go upstairs. The harbour itself is full of boats and quite pretty. Walking is for the most part on the flat. The boardwalk along the beach is pretty but watch out for bikes.Guest review byAnnabelleGUnited Kingdom - 8.0
Good location for visiting the Island.
Good location for visiting the Island. Able to walk to Fermain Bay from here and then round the Bay to St Peter Port. A few handy shops too and a Methodist Church. Fermain Bay hotel is a great location for eating or just having coffee if you can’t make it down the hill to the Fermain Bay cafe.Guest review byAnneUnited Kingdom - 10

Like the quietness of the Vale, away from the town centre, tucked away at the end of the island. I love the location of the peninsula hotel facing the ocean, the sun rise is amazing in the early hours of the morning all golden really beautiful. Going to the town centre you need a bus , it runs hourly week day and 2hourly week end. Taxis are hard to come bye and expensive, book with the hotel 24rs pre. The food in the hotel is nice but a bit pricey you don't really have much choice no nearby restaurants.Guest review bybassey-williams - 10

The area of St Clements is lovely, great sandy beaches with free parking and clean public conveniences, and a few lovely pubs to eat at. Small supermarkets (Morrisons and Co-op) are also around and are open late. Easy access to the rest of the island without going through St Helier, if driving, and frequent buses to St Helier or Grouville.Guest review byVannnieUnited Kingdom - 10

Jersey is not very big, but all the parishes have something to offer. St Saviour is on the East side of the island and close to St Helier town centre. Several good hotels and eating places. There is a Howard Davis Park, the War Tunnels, St Saviours Church, and the Hotel de Normandie has an Ayurvedic Spa, has several schools/colleges, and its famous people like Lillie Langtry (1853–1929), British-American socialite, actress and producer from St Saviour.Guest review byMulholland
