Beautiful country-chic pub, with a heavenly garden, roaming peacocks and fluffy hens. The food is first class with local sourced products. We spent the night and the room was lovely, nicely decorated and spacious. Last but not least, the staff and the owner went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.     Stayed here for 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. A big shout out to the staff, as they are the best feature of the hotel. The pools, the spa, the cinema room, comfortable bedding and Sticky Toffee Pudding! The staff at reception and restaurant are very friendly and polite..every single one of them!! Nothing is ever too much for them. We were even offered to use the spa post check out. The rooms are nice and decent size, with comfortable bed and stunning views across the bay. We were lucky with the weather so, spent an entire afternoon at the outdoor pool. The indoor pool and spa area was great too. However, the highlight remains the cinema room, which you can book for a private viewing. The Sticky Toffee Pudding definitely deserves a shout!

    I had been looking forward to visiting Clovelly and staying at the Red Lion for ages and after walking from Westward Ho! was a little tired but the service and the room made me quickly forget my aching body.     I think we saw the important sights in Exeter during our one night stay. You could stay longer and venture more and further away given parking permits in and out travel, yet for us the closeness to center city and major sights was enough. Highly recommend hotel.

    An attractive small town that benefits from looking out over both the sea and estuary. The shops, station and ferry (for Starcross) are all within easy walking distance. Exmouth is at one end of the Exe Estuary Trail: we cycled from Exeter (and back at the end of our stay). This is a very scenic, mostly off road and mostly flat route, highly recommended.

    llfracombe is amazing for the picturesque walks and views, and watching the sunset. They can be quite hilly, but there are plenty of benches to rest on. Our favourite place to eat is the Admiral Collingwood Wetherspoons Pub, prices are good and it is ideally situated. Also the ice cream parlours are lovely. There is crazy golf, and a nice nature reserve to visit with a small waterfall we found.

    Dartmouth is a great place to visit - a lot of quaint unique shops. Beautiful location on the river Dart. Lots of different eateries/pubs/restaurants (shout out to the Dartmouth Arms for a fab steak and the Floating Bridge for an exceptional Sunday dinner). Good base to visit other local places such as Blackpool sands, Slapton, Totnes etc. Lots to do - Steamtrain over the river at Kingswear, river cruises to various locations.

    Lynton and lynmouth are just beautiful places to visit. Plenty of great pubs and places to eat set in a very picturesque environment. The cliff railway was interesting to ride on and the Exmoor visitors centre was very informative. The valley of rocks was amazing to visit.

    Totnes won my heart! The area is beautiful and the people absolutely lovely. We were there for just one night and had a wonderful time. From the lovely meal in the gorgeous high street to the pub with open mic night - we will definitely return.

    Lovely little town with boutique and independent shops with nice places to eat. Surrounding countryside was lovely, even in November when we went, but threatened by lots of new housing development only served by country lanes. Car very important to see the sights out of town. Everyone very friendly including at the Mill in Uffcombe which is well worth a visit.

    A beautiful place away from the City hustle. The Caravan stay for awesome and my parents and my family loved it. The caravan booked was for 7 people including 2 kids, which had 3 bedroom and 1 toilet and one toilet and bathroom attached. We booked for 3 nights, and on the second day we decided to check if we could extend the stay for another 3 nights, but it was a shame that caravan was booked and we could not extend our stay. Our car was parked in front of the Caravan we stayed. The nearby food joints was about ~10 to 15 mins walk from the location "Seafield Holiday Park". "Affinity Devon Outlet Shopping" was about 10 mins drive from the location we stayed. I would surely recommend to visit/stay in this place.
