- From US$147.27 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.1Good - What previous guests thought, 2,964 reviewsThe location was excellent. Right next to the train and bus station. Lots of restaurants around. The room was cosy and nice. The bathroom was big, and everything was cleaned every day. There was a problem with the bolier the first morning, but theybsort it out fairly quickly during the day, and after that, everything worked jurt fine, and heating in the room was perfect. Breakfast was great because it was buffet style and had a wide selection of food, including vegetarian options The hotel is old, but I think that it is pretty well maintained, and it has its own charm. I would stay here again.Guest review byAlejandra Espinoza CChile
- From US$343.74 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.3Very good - What previous guests thought, 1,538 reviewsIt''s an unforgettable experience that still lingers with me, even though I've been out of the hotel for several weeks: the sound of Loch Linnhe's waves all night through the open panoramic window. The hotel is perfectly located for exploring Castle Stalker, Glencoe Valley, the Three Sisters of Glencoe, and the forests with Fairy Bridge (be sure to check out this fabulous old bridge).Guest review byEnyaIsrael
- From US$202.58 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.0Very good - What previous guests thought, 5,300 reviewsOoh boy was this one a pleasant surprise in Inverness. Another on the fly booking on our road trip, only to end up staying in what amounted to a surprisingly luxurious room above a 10/10 restaurant. Do try the lamb and the slow cooked beef dishes, they're finger licking good - and don't forget to try the whisky! We took some home too, it was that good.Guest review byAlina CasapuRomania

I've been to Inverness before and always enjoyed the atmosphere in this city. If you want to experience more of the Highlands, book your tours ahead of time. Whatever tour you book, it's always worth it. The scenery is extraordinary and listen to the locals: their accent gives you a very special feeling during your stay. That is priceless.Guest review byKlausGermany - 10.0

The Clan MacDuff hotel really made my stay in Fort William. It was so welcoming and comfortable I really didn't want to leave. The town of Fort William was small but the people I spoke to were always helpful.Guest review byJamesUnited Kingdom - 10.0
I love this neck of the woods.
I love this neck of the woods. Plenty to do if you are an outdoors person or just want a break from busy places. It is a nice laid back location where there is a lot less hassle. Lots of nice food places - either restaurants or take-aways and plenty of shops where you could buy your own food if you don't want to go out. Highly recommended. If the weather is not so good there are plenty of lovely places you can drive to within 45 minutes.Guest review byMarkUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Lovely place with many interesting places to visit. Also travelled around Skye to various parts but managed to see most of the island over the course of our 3 day/night stay Make sure to pay a visit to the fairy pools. Also if you can spot some Highland Cows (Coo) be sure to grab a photo!Guest review bySusanAustralia - 8.0

Beautiful location with plenty of places nearby to visit. Good choice/variety of places to eat in the town too. The Shore Restaurant is excellent. The food is well cooked and well presented and the surroundings are comfortable and relaxing.Guest review byLindaUnited Kingdom - 2.0
A poor and unattractive place.
A poor and unattractive place. Most shops were empty and nothing was looked after, except a superb flower garden around a statue in a little square near the hotel. It was difficult to find somewhere nice to eat. Quite depressing environment.Guest review bySimonUnited Kingdom - 8.0
Lovely little shops to walk in and out of.
Lovely little shops to walk in and out of. You get to watch the loch in action with the four levels the boats have to go through to get to the next section. This is very interesting and a good place to watch this. There are many walks you can do along the Loch which are very picturesque.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0
