Actually the hotel was not operating during the period. So they moved us to the other hotel which is under the same umbrella towards Inverness, since we booked earlier than their decision. We enjoyed the hotel, room, dinner and breakfast. The staff were excellent in many ways. During that period, the hotel was actually closed. Consequently, we were asked to be relocated to another hotel affiliated with the same group, between Inverness and the Clansman. We had a delightful experience at the alternative hotel, enjoying our accommodations, dinner, and breakfast. The staff exhibited excellence in various aspects of service.

It was a comfortable, cosy little room overlooking the canal locks. The check-in and check-out procedure was very quick and easy.

Hotel and All the Staff… Donald, Sharon, Evi….and Emily at Breakfast looked after Us exceptionally Well… Lovely People and Food was Excellent. A lovely stay and very enjoyable. Loved the Loch.

You won't find a more traditional Scottish ambiance anywhere else. This place has such charm...burning wood fire, traditional music playing whilst you eat a delicious home cooked full, hot breakfast. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Yes, the decor is a little tired but for us this just added to the charm. Staff were so helpful and the location is fantastic!

The staff were very accommodating. Chinese restaurant with affordable meals. They were happy to meet me at midnight when I was delayed.

This hotel has a fantastic location, quite near Loch Ness most interesting places. The room was fantastic, with the key requirements to our family. Wonderful soft carpets (after few day walking in rocks and stones :-) ). Great dinner. Wonderful, friendly hosts (accomodation owners). Great bathroom soaps from "The Highland Soap Company". Awesome breakfest. They advised us about the next trip. And where to buy the soap :-). (We did it) Still a good price-performance ratio.
