- From US$119.74 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.0Good - What previous guests thought, 1,886 reviewsMy single room was perfect. It had all you might expect, wardrobe, desk, chair, hairdryer, drink making facilities. My bed was one of the comfiest I've slept on, and the room was lovely and clean. It also had its own shower room, which was nicely stocked with shower gel and soaps and, again, was lovely and clean. For breakfast, there was a help yourself buffet, which consisted of both hot and cold choices, from a full English to cereals and toast. The area was well presented, and the cooked breakfast I had was hot and tasty. The staff were friendly, chatty, and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel itself is a 5 min walk from the high street, with a nice selection of shops and cafés and about 10 mins to the seafront. The promenade is on the flat, as is the shopping area, for anyone with difficulty walking, it's ideal. The castle is about 10 mins walk and there is a cafe and arcade along the way, with a lovely fish and chip shop. For anyone reading this, I would highly recommend Four Seasons, for the lovely staff, excellent location, great room, and lovely breakfast choice, it has it all.Guest review byMichelleSpain

Room 310 was brilliant for our group of 6, there was plenty of room and storage, and the modern bathroom was as one would expect. We enjoyed walking around the neighbourhoods, the friendliness of locals, nice range of pubs and excellent meals. We enjoyed walking thru the fields behind the top of Constitution Hill (furnicular). We spent lovely half a day at the National Library and surrounds. Beach and promenade is lovely and especially around the spit beyond the castle. Sublime walking in Aber town itself. we had just 2 full days, with one more, would take Rheidol Railway & Devil’s Bridge.Guest review byIan GarethCanada - 4.0

Not very wonderful and absolutely dead after seven in the evening - we couldnt find anywhere to eat and finally had to settle for fish and chips in the car. Unfortunately, the tide was in both morning and evening and apart from nearer the harbour, there was no sand left to walk on We drove a few miles further towards Harlech and found a good sandy beach there although you had to pay for parking..Guest review byFelicityUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Brecon is a great little centre for walking with a nice atmosphere and plenty of shops, pubs and restaurants. We live an hours drive away but it is really nice to book for a weekend away and to explore the area, the weather isn’t always kind so staying in Brecon provides for alternatives if necessary.Guest review byDawnUnited Kingdom - 10.0

I was only there for one evening and 1 day and spent a few hours in the town, I found the people to be friendly and the town small but charming and very picturesque. Nice shops and pubs and a great antique/ second hand shop.Guest review byjohnUnited Kingdom - 10.0

The purpose of our visit was to see a show at the Borough Theatre. Hence we only stayed one night. We live in Bristol so Abergavenny is not far. However we decided to stay over and have a meal rather than driving back after the show. The Theatre was good and we would visit again. We had dinner at the Anatolian restaurant which was excellent. I know Turkish food and it was good. We would consider visiting again and staying over to do some walking or seeing the sites.Guest review bySueUnited Kingdom - 10.0

If you are looking for an amazing beach with great dunes for long walks Aberdyfi is great. Other than that it is a very quiet seaside town with a few shops and places to eat. There is a train station that can take you along the coast, also a golf club and a bowling clubGuest review byAmandaUnited Kingdom - 10.0
The Seven Stars at Aberedw is fabulous.
The Seven Stars at Aberedw is fabulous. Fantastic people working there, the food is excellent, with large portions, the rooms are comfortable, spacious and very clean. There are quite a few pubs in Builth Wells centre, but nome of them match the Seven Stars at Aberedw. Visit the White Hart in Builth Wells, a locals pub, but they make you feel very welcome.Guest review byDaveUnited Kingdom - 10.0

I don't travel too far from the property, as I am happy with the local context, but if you like travelling out, then there is lots on locally and further out of Llandovery. Lots of stillness, peace and enjoying the natural world. Due to allergies, cooking facilities in the property make it really easy for eating in. Solo and families can enjoy lots of walks. A scattering of independent shops and pubs to enjoy.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0

Rhayader is a lovely town but there is nothing much there anymore. It is the gateway town to Elan Valley, which is absolutely awesome...... the scenery and the walks are stunning. Couple of nice places to eat in Rhayader .... the Triangle and the Eagle. Theres a lovely riverside walk and the Gigrin is a must to see the Red Kites.Guest review byAndieUnited Kingdom
