Staying at the Prince's House was an absolute delight! The old mansion exudes timeless elegance, transporting you back to the era of Scottish nobility. The spacious rooms provided ample comfort, allowing us to relax in style. The restaurant exceeded expectations with its diverse menu of fine cuisine, each dish impeccably prepared and utterly delicious. The attention to detail extended to the pottery and silverware, adding a touch of refinement to every dining experience. Without hesitation, I highly recommend the Prince's House to anyone seeking to indulge in the luxurious charm of a bygone era and feel like royalty for a day. A truly five-star experience!

The rooms were so chic, clean, and comfortable. It totally exceeded my expectations! The location was perfect--right next to the train station where I needed to be at 6 am. What's even better? Absolutely everything! It was perfect for our family, so thoughtfully equipped down to the smallest detail and set in the most spectacular location! Very comfortable beds, a beautiful Lou for the evenings and a large well equipped kitchen for family meals. The views are beautiful and there are many wonderful walks and hikes near by, an outstanding area of natural beauty. Thank you, we will absolutely be back! ❤️

This place has awesome views of the Loch, especially at sunset — really beautiful. Our little cabin was super cozy and had everything we needed to cook for ourselves. It was also really clean. When we got there, the gas stove wasn’t working, but Kevin showed up right away and did his best to fix it — big thanks to him! We had a great time and would definitely come back.

Great place to take a break when you are visiting the Highlands and Islands! Mallaig is a port town and a gateway to do many other places. The accommodation at An Bothan was excellent. Home from home with so many special touches from the owners to make the stay even more comfortable. We would highly recommend it if you are looking for a short or longer stay in Mallaig.

The super helpful staff made us feel very welcome. They had the knack of knowing when we needed help. we always felt the staff had time for us - as it should be, There is no lift and as 'older', to put it mildly, visitors, the climb to our room on the third floor was a bit like climbing Ben Nevis and the descent was even more difficult with our dodgy knees. We had chosen a sea view room and it turned out these are on the higher floors. The staff could not have been more helpful, short of carrying us up and down on their backs, and made sure we knew they would carry things up and down for us.

The “Cabin food stop”for breakfast was exceptional .on the main drag. It’s a steel container off the roadside. Great value. Little night life but Fort William is only 3 miles away. You can see the Hogwarts express ( the Jacobite steam train ),up close in several spots ,especially the entrance bridge at loch linne holiday park ,where it passes under it. Corpach is really a stop off point for your trip.

Overall the house was fine but pity about state of property next door - quite offputting when first arriving. House relatively clean but could have been better. Rooms were a good size. Two adults felt the mattresses should be replaced. It would not take much TLC to lift the property - e.g. some painting, fixing gutter, improve back garden, fix bathroom tap, better cutlery, more informed Visitor pack. Overall, think it is best suited for climbers, walkers.

We did wish that we could have stayed longer in Banavie and we would certainly come back to explore more of the area especially if visiting Ben Nevis.
