- From US$175.32 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Superb - What previous guests thought, 1,046 reviewsExcellent stay in one of the nook rooms overlooking the meadow. Very relaxing a peaceful and lots of little extras to make this a luxury stay. The room was very comfortable with the added bonus of a wood fired hot tub - not loads of storage space but we were only staying overnight sadly. We also had a meal in the main restaurant which was excellent, as was breakfast (served fresh, not buffet). We wouldn't hesitate to book again when we're in the area.Guest review byJoanUnited Kingdom
- From US$182.57 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.1Good - What previous guests thought, 1,842 reviewsWe liked being able to stay in a hotel that was close to our family. It was a convenient location and we were happy with our room. The staff was very friendly. We loved being able to use the facilities...the driving range. The adventure golf was closed due to snow the day we wanted to play, but we hope to play next time we stay. We enjoyed being able to use the lounge area by the bar to hang out with a big group of family members.Guest review byRENEEUnited States

There were many excellent eateries and pubs in the town and as a chef I loved all the ingredients available in the many Asian convenience stores. But there was nothing else to do. I looked at what to do in Ipswich but everything recommended involved walking in parks, travelling out of Ipswich or wasn’t open midweek. I also left one pub because I couldn’t cope with the frankly fascist rhetoric of other customers. The Tower Street Food Hall was excellent.Guest review byDarren - 10.0

My family used to holiday in Lowestoft either in the summer or at Whitsun every year from 1965-1970. As a youngster there was always so much to do & see there. I've been back several times since then & a lot of the attractions have disappeared. However the town revived several happy memoriesGuest review byRobertUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Loved Woodbridge. So friendly and quiet. Very interesting history re the museum, the long ship and the Tide Mill. Loved walking along the River Deben, spotting the two sisters. Sutton Hoo is a must. Great eating places, Marlowe’s, The Anchor - very good meals. Loved the church and the architecture and history of the whole area, houses and fantastic shops too. We love Felixstowe for the wonderful sea front/promenade.
We love Felixstowe for the wonderful sea front/promenade. Every time we go something else has been smartened up, it’s looking really good. It’s a great place to walk with our disabled daughter. We love Languard nature reserve and the cafe, watching ships and boats. And swimming in the sea feels safe, and we like the swimming pool too.Guest review byJulietUnited Kingdom - 10.0

We came back as we loved it. We brought our little dog and I knew I would be happy walking early. Loved seeing the mad swimmers, me huddled in a winter coat and them in costumes. We love the town, shops open and welcoming dogs too,Guest review byIanUnited Kingdom - 10.0
A great place to stay for a relaxing break.
A great place to stay for a relaxing break. Lots of great places to eat and buy food, and shops to browse around. The seagulls are quiet and polite as there is a £2500 fine for feeding them, so they are used to catching their own fish. Do walk along to see the fish stalls and the giant clam.Guest review byMichele KUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Busy village high street with a few nice pubs. Went to Sudbury to find a proper restaurant that wasn't just pub food. Thought Scutcher's was too pricey and Black Lion not enough on menu appealed. Nice walk up to the two halls on the Sunday morning.Guest review byPhilipUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Beccles is an interesting and varied town with many historical landmarks and also the beginning of the The Broads. The River Waveney runs adjacent to the town along which there are many walking opportunities. Plenty of pubs and restaurants and a good shopping destination.Guest review byPAULUnited Kingdom
