- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.4Superb - What previous guests thought, 781 reviewsBooked to see concert at Open Air Theatre and to spend weekend at Scarborough. Venue was just a minute walk away from The Sands. Accommodation was on the beach so we just walked on to beach for a swim from the Apartment block. 5+ star quality. High tech security. Welcome Hamper awaited us with milk, tea and biscuits, packet of crisps, mini bottle of wine, beer and even sparkling water. Staff were really caring and friendly. I had a fall while walking, so they even provided me with bandage dressing and plasters. Apartment had all mod cons you can think of. Very tastefully furnished. Even Netflix on HD TV. Everything was perfect!Guest review bygerryUnited Kingdom
- From US$293.28 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 7,417 reviewsThe service from the staff was excellent - we were staying with our 6 month old baby and my elderly father and they did their utmost to make our stay as comfortable as possible, despite our various requirements (washing baby bottles daily, having to bring some breakfast for my dad at York Hospital). We had dinner twice at The Rise and although the first time we enjoyed an average meal, the second time, where we were a group of 13 for my graduation dinner, was fantastic.Guest review byKarineSeychelles
- From US$200.88 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.7Good - What previous guests thought, 1,351 reviewsI loved the style of the hotel, its uniqueness and the fact there is so much history in its walls. Very lovely place and beautiful garden facility with stunning seaside view 😍 Food was delicious but small evening menu. Breakfast with a sea view something worth a distance to come and experience. Great team of people I had a chance to meet. They do a lot of improvements too what is very nice to see.Guest review byMaciagiewiczPoland

Chose Leeds to stay overnight on my way to Edinburgh, wish I chose elsewhere because the 'bus gates', so bus only zones, are not signposted, the Radisson hotel was disappointing due to a broken shower heating element in the first room, broken air conditioning in the second room and a grumpy night manager. The breakfast was nice and the wait staff were friendly. We went to Blue Pavilion for dinner and it was style over substance.Guest review byChowUnited Kingdom - 8.0
Loved the vibe and the history of York.
Loved the vibe and the history of York. Tour bus in my opinion not worth the money unless you have a full day to really make the most of the hop on hop off part. We ate at ate late and it was absolutely lovely. Would book though as we were very lucky to get a table. Give yourself longer than 1 full day - so much to see if you have more time.Guest review byNancieUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Loved the town, daughter has her heart set on Hallam uni now. Keep an eye on which way you walk in and out of the city from the hotel as there were dodgy areas, like any city. Loved the fact that the centre is almost all pedestrianised. Had a fab meal in Bella Italia.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Scarborough has long been an attractive option for a Yorkshire seaside break. It has suffered like many seaside town from the flight from UK holidays to cheap flights abroad. It is still a great family resort, with strong natural features, including the beaches and coastal gardens, and the castle. It s cultural offer is improving all the time. The Spa puts on some great events and the Stephen Joseph Theatre is a real gem with a great range of theatre productions, film and other events. The town centre continues to receive investment which will only bring more into the town as will the Scarborough Fair programme of off season activities that has just started.Guest review byMelvynUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Bradford has a multi-cultural historical centre and is vibrant , especially during the year of culture. The markets are also multicultural and recently renovated. Clearly a city with an interesting past and a great future. The city ihas become a real cultural hub.Guest review byNunnUnited Kingdom - 2.0
Doncaster town is very depressing.
Doncaster town is very depressing. Big shops moved out and lots of shops closed entirely. Such a shame. We lived here for eleven years and moved with work but come back frequently to see friends. From the bank HSBC up Hallgate to the top is a very sad sight. Money needs investing to make it lovely again.Guest review byEileenUnited Kingdom - 8.0

We went to visit the Hepworth Gallery and the Yorkshire Sculpture Park. Finding somewhere to eat on Tuesday night was a challenge! But bus services to both the gallery and the YSP were good. Quite a few places for breakfast on offer.Guest review byAnnUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Huddersfield doesn't have the best of reputations, which is a pity. I think that it's an absolute gem. The buildings are gorgeous, particularly to one who looks, such detail and reference to the industrial past. From the entrance steps to the railway station, one can see a lion and a prime minister. If you roam and keep your eyes open, there is so much more. I ate at my hotel. i travelled by car,Guest review byRichardUnited Kingdom
