- From US$224.24 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 1,127 reviewsOur recent stay at the Mitsi Galini Hotel was nothing short of extraordinary. From the very first moment we set foot in the hotel, we were enveloped in an ambiance of warmth and friendliness that made us feel at home immediately. The staff's genuine smiles and welcoming attitudes created a positive atmosphere that resonated throughout our stay, setting the stage for what would become an incredible and memorable holiday. One of the standout features of our visit was unquestionably the spa facilities. Stepping into the spa was like entering a haven of tranquillity and peace. The serene environment, characterized by soothing scents and gentle music, provided an ideal escape from the daily grind. The variety of treatments on offer was impressive, catering to every need, be it relaxation or invigoration. The therapists were highly skilled and thoughtful, ensuring that every massage or beauty treatment left us feeling refreshed and renewed. It was a true sanctuary for body and soul, providing a perfect respite from the outside world. Dining at the Mitsi Galini Hotel was a delightful adventure for our taste buds. The culinary team excelled in crafting a menu that celebrated a rich variety of flavours. Each morning, we indulged in a breakfast buffet that was both vibrant and diverse, offering fresh fruits, pastries, and a range of hot dishes. Dinner was an equally delightful experience, with exquisite gourmet dishes that highlighted local ingredients and international inspiration. The presentation was impeccable, and every bite was a testament to the chef's expertise. It’s rare to find a place where each meal turns into an unforgettable journey, but this hotel achieved exactly that. Beyond the spa and dining, the hotel’s facilities continued to impress. Our room was a testament to luxury and comfort, with elegant décor and ample space that created an inviting retreat.Guest review byEffrosyniUnited Kingdom
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 467 reviewsSuch an amazing experience at Thalatta. If you're looking for a place you can stop, drop, and do nothing for a few days to a week, this is perfect. We didn't need to leave the hotel at all - the rooms, pool, beach, everything, was better than expected. The staff are so helpful and friendly, they really made our stay there 10/10. I booked in for a massage in the spa which was exceptional, and the gym facilities are small but very new and modern. You can even book the gym out completely so you have the entire space to yourself. We don't have kids yet but there were many children there kept entertained at the kids club. When we do have children, I would 100% come back to Thalatta as I know they'll have a fun experience too! The breakfast is also outstanding. It was included in our room fee and honestly was one of the best breakfasts I've had on a European holiday. So much choice!Guest review byKatelynUnited Kingdom
- From US$166.72 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Superb - What previous guests thought, 433 reviewsThe location was right in front of the beach, so you don't have to walk too much. Room very comfortable and cozy, breakfast very good with wide choices of food, everything spotlessly clean, but the best part is staff, from receptionists to the cleaning ladies and waiters, everybody was very kind, attentive and willing to help. Our special thanks to Grigoris (I hope I spell it right).Guest review byDraganSerbia

The ancient city is very interesting on its own but combined with the dramatic landscape of steep mountains and views, it is wonderful!! There are a lot of stairs. The museum was definitely worth visiting. It got busy with tour groups so I suspect early or late in the day would be best. We ate in two of the Tavernas with views. Both good.Guest review byBruceAustralia - 8.0

it was my 3rd time in Chalkida: its a 100.000 inhabitants town and its typical Greek city: dirty, loud, traffic out of control - every driver is doing what he wants. be careful when you cross the road by foot!! you have a very clean and calm shopping mall and a tourist area on the beach where is a lot of Restaurants. unfortunately, the later the evening, the louder the music. we were in Mostar meeting friends and you could not understand your own word. whats sense of so loud music in a Restaurant? around Chalkida there are a lot of wonderful, peaceful places. visit the beach areas or the Castle Cafe for a good cup! prices in most restaurants are very fair, but be careful not to be tricked: especially when you choose fish, ASK BEFORE what it will cost!Guest review byStephanAustria - 10.0

Arachova is not the place to have rounds with your car, Main Street is very narrow with two car lanes!!! There are public parking lots, two of them just right after the village. Really worth the burden to visit the ancient sightseeing’s. Further to this the food is great and tasty, there are also a huge variety of suvenirs to get with youGuest review byPanagiotisGreece - 10.0

The town has two coves used as harbours. The yacht marina has many restaurants and pubs. There are several expensive hotels in the town and a few less expensive ones, as well as shops and a pharmacy. It is a charming, small town with many streets for walking by the sea. An Orthodox church stands tall above the town. which itself has a very long history, dating back to the 8th century BC. I was there in mid-September - no crowds, very pleasant stay.Guest review byTomPoland - 10.0

Center was busy, nice and well endowed.
Center was busy, nice and well endowed. Many restaurants, and people walking around downtown in the evenings. That place has a history of tourism which is visible and valued by the city hall. Better beaches are further away. Not so easy to find a supermarket or a mini-market in the center. Ferry not available after 7 pm so when travelling by car need to adjust schedule accordingly. .Guest review byBogdanRomania - 6.0

Pension Posidonia is really beautiful - we had a lovely balcony overlooking the sea, surrounded by a garden full of oleander and other flowers. The free sunbeds and umbrellas are on the doorstep, the beach is lovely, and the views are stunning. We swam all day and sunbathed then wandered a 5 minute walk to good seafood restaurants overlooking the sea. Shops are even closer, everywhere was very accessible. Our delightful host recommended Louis, one of the many restaurants, and was incredibly warm, welcoming and helpful in every way. She speaks excellent English, and ordered us our taxi to the airport when we - reluctantly! - had to go home. Definitely 5 stars!Guest review byAnonymous
