- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.7Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 239 reviewsThe property is beyond amazing. No words can describe the beauty of the place and this hotel. The infinity pool in our room with the sunset was magical, Super clean with all amenities available. The staff were the best, super friendly and helpful, they recommended for us restaurants and places to visit. Oia was the best place to visit, 10mn ride and they can provide hotel transportation. We had the best wagyu mini burgers in the restaurant at the hotel, we had drinks by the infinity pool and sunset. The hotel is very high standard and classy. It was so far the best hotel i visited around the world. Thank you so much all Cavo tagoo staff specially MANOS he was the sweetest and very helpful ♥️Guest review byimaneKuwait
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.0Very Good - What previous guests thought, 164 reviewsThe room was spacious and with an amazing view!! The staff were very helpful and welcoming. They provided us with a complimentary room upgrade that we are thankful for! The food at the restaurant was tasty and the area by the pool is very beautiful. The location is great, with a breathtaking view of the famous Koukounaries beach but also easy access to it, either on foot or with the hotel buses, which are available every 15 minutes.Guest review byEleniUnited States

The old town and harbour are stunning- really picturesque with a happy, vibrant vibe, lots to see and loads of small, independent shops, cafes and restaurants. The challenge is trying to find one’s way back to any particular shop, as the Old Town is such a maze of narrow cobbled streets with quaint, pretty houses. I had been told it’s a great place to visit but it vastly exceeded my expectations.Guest review byKayUnited Kingdom - 4.0
Heraklion has a lot of car and bike traffic.
Heraklion has a lot of car and bike traffic. It is like peak hour in Sydney constantly. Parking is horrendous. I would recommend staying out of Heraklion. Drive to Knossos Palace, but go early. The other attraction for us was the Archaeological Museum. Get a uber or taxi to that. The foreshore looks like they gave up on it years ago. After Chania, Heraklion was a disappointment.Guest review byWalAustralia - 10.0
The city of Rhodes, it’s absolutely worth exploring.
The city of Rhodes, it’s absolutely worth exploring. The island’s capital has an incredibly rich and fascinating history — a blend of ancient, medieval, and Ottoman influences that you can truly feel in every street of the Old Town. I highly recommend discovering it with a local guide — it made the experience so much deeper and more rewarding.Guest review byLaskara Properties - 10.0
We spent two weeks on the island in Fira, We stayed one week...
We spent two weeks on the island in Fira, We stayed one week on the east side and one week on the west side. The east side of the island is quieter. You need to walk to shops and restaurants - uphill, so lots of cardio! We stayed at Hill Suites. A lovely, relaxing and private accommodation with a perfect lanai breakfast every morning. Thomas, the manager was an excellent host! The second week we spent on the caldera side. Very busy!!!! Shops and restaurants surround you. No cars here. Streets are lovely, narrow, winding paths leading you from one surprise to another. Everywhere the views are stunning! The best resource on the island is the bus terminal located in Fira. This terminal is a hub and spoke terminal. All buses leave and return to this terminal each trip. You can go anywhere for 2 euros one way. An excellent way to see the island! The buses run frequently so if you miss one, don't worry there will be another shortly. They also service the airport! Across the street from the bus depot is the Museum. A must see after you have visited the excavations at Akrotiri at the south end of the island. Really, find yourself a spot to sit and enjoy a beverage while taking in the view and watching the activities around you. Remember to breathe. Relax. Enjoy.Guest review byKathrynCanada - 8.0
Picturesque city with a multitude of bars and restaurants.
Picturesque city with a multitude of bars and restaurants. A few high end clothing stores, and many many businesses selling jewelry, clothes, souvenirs and fridge magnets. Quite small, apparently caters to party goers over the summer (went in October end of season, where most main venues had closed).Guest review byMarkSwitzerland - 10.0
Great place with impressive historical sights, fine cuisine...
Great place with impressive historical sights, fine cuisine from many parts of the world and Greek traditional food at affordable prices. Great beaches, especially on the West coast but for the sand lovers the East coast is probably a better choice. Well organized and affordable public transport, great hosts everywhere. Greek people are always warm and nice and very hospitable. Corfu town has that great mixture of Greek traditional and English vibe which go together perfectly well. At one minute you are astonished by Ionnian and Venetian architecture and then you look around and enjoy great green spaces, public gardens, a garden dedicated to famous English Durrells for example... The atmosphere is the best in spring and early autumn in my opinion, when you can get lost in narrow vivid streets and enjoy the lively atmosphere with not too many tourists and warm but not too hot weatherGuest review byOliveraSerbia - 10.0

It was about a ten minutes walk uphill part way to Koutouloufari, loads of restaurants and bars, a fabulous experience. Walk a little further and you come to Piscopiano, also excellent. Walk down the hill and you come to restaurants with Greek dancing and plate smashing, also excellent.Guest review byGrahamUnited Kingdom - 6.0

Like many Cretan coastal towns and villages, Rethymno is overwhelmed by us tourists. It's distressing to walk very crowded mediaeval streets surrounded by souvenir shops. The famous bakeries are wonderful and the harbour is really beautiful. Parking has been addressed but the experience is still not pleasant. We found having a drink and a light meal on the waterfront a joyless experience, crowded area and surly service. I would recommend Rethymno for a quick visit to see the Old Town bakeries and the Harbour.Guest review byJohnAustralia - 10.0

The people in Naxos were all so kind and thoughtful. The town felt very authentic. The food was delicious. The island had many charming places , but was difficult to navigate. GPS often took you off main roads and into areas difficult to drive and easy to get lost.Guest review byPatriceUnited States
