It was so spacious, meticously clean and beautifully furnished yet really comfortable.
It's right in the middle of town and close to everything. It's in the heart of the community, you can hear children playing in the community space below. It has an authentic feel to it.
Erini was amazing, so helpful and genuinely kind. If we were to stay in Symi again, we would definitely stay at Kampos House.
Thank you Erini, we hope to see you and Symi again!

Just outside the gates there is a mini market and a tiny bakery, too tempting to walk past .....The room was perfect with the most amazing view of the sea and the harbour, we never got tired of looking at it. Everything is spotlessly clean and there was a never ending supply of fresh towels, toilet rolls etc. Great aircon and very comfy beds. There wasn't a breakfast option upon booking but the lovely lady at the hotel is around from approx 7.30 am setting up a wonderful array of complimentary breakfast items ( eggs, bread, rolls, cheese, ham, cereal, yoghurt, honey, juice, tea, coffee.. etc) in the dining area where you can eat on the terrace looking out at the amazing view. Charming island with beautiful beaches and some wildlife - saw one seal on Nimborio beach, and the other person saw turtles on Marathounda beach. Very interesting two monasteries of Archangel Michael - the new one and the old one in mountains with frescoes from 15th century. The island has beautiful beaches which can be accessed by water taxi. The swimming and snorkelling are amazing. We saw a variety of fish, squid and a turtle. The harbour area is quite commercial and busy when the day trippers are there. However, when they have returned to Rhodes, it;s a very peaceful island. It's worth exploring the many small streets and myriads of steps that wind up the hillside. It's easy to get lost but that's part of the fun. The food shops are relatively small but we found plenty for self-catering. There are some very good restaurants in the town (there were some super-yachts staying every night we were there) and the prices we paid weren't too bad.
