- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Superb - What previous guests thought, 402 reviewsOn the day of my arrival, I was allowed to park my motorcycle right at the entrance – what a great welcome! The hotel’s parking is just around the corner and located in a public lot, which was perfectly convenient. Service was outstanding – the entire staff was very friendly and helpful. One waiter even went above and beyond: after we asked about getting some watermelon, he not only got it for us but cut and chilled it with lots of ice, then personally brought it to us at the pool – all completely free of charge. Now that’s what I call going the extra mile! We received plenty of great tips and advice (because we asked!) on what to do, where to go, and where to eat – all super useful. Laundry service was available and excellent: my clothes were returned washed, dried, and neatly folded – even my socks – and all for a very small fee. The pool isn’t huge, but definitely large enough to cool off and relax. You can order drinks and snacks directly to your sunbed (drinks are charged, of course), and the sunbeds themselves are free of charge. One more thing, which might not seem important at first, but really adds to the experience: the interior design of the hotel is very well thought-out. When you’re in the breakfast or dining area, make sure to look down and admire the beautiful, unique tiling! All in all, it’s clear that the owners and staff are running this hotel with real care and attention to detail – they’ve set the bar high for others. If it’s within your budget, don’t hesitate – book this place!Guest review byJürgenAustria
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.6Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 351 reviewsoh, we had such a lovely stay at Villa Mediterranea Bol. First, we got a parking very near the Villa, and the VM staff helped us with all the luggage and served welcome drinks. the room was ready immediately and it was very fresh and clean, with a fairly big terrace and wonderful view over garden and pool. beds are super comfortable and big, so we had a great rest.. breakfast is served at the garden and this was just great.. carefully picked items, and lots of variety, pancakes, fruits…. i wish we go back there… thnx VM team for all the attention. 👍Guest review byLukaGermany

We loved Bol, it was a lovely resort with plenty of restaurants, great walks and beaches and it had a friendly, laid-back vibe with people of all ages. Zlatni Rat beach was lovely and when we were there it wasn't overly busy and although clearly set up for tourists they seem to have kept the balance just about right (although the sun beds and shades are ridiculously expensive at 39 euros per day for 2 sunbeds and 1 umbrella), needless to say we didn't bother. The walk along the promenade to Zlatni Rat was gorgeous with lots to interest from interesting villas, bars, tourist gift stalls, sculptures and the tree cover made it shady and attractive. Equally the walk into town and the harbour and then further along to the monastery was also interesting and always something different to see. Food and drink is not cheap sadly but most of the meals we had were really good quality - for a special meal try Boket 78, our most expensive meal but the flavours were amazing. I had the lamb and it was one of the best meals I've ever had, hubby had the black risotto and he said it was full of flavour too. Also the vegan restaurant Biomania was lovely. We loved Bol and would happily visit again.Guest review byWendyUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Brac is a great island.
Brac is a great island. Supetar is the best city on the island. There are a variety of beaches along the cost within 30 mins drive. You can find from shady pebble beach, to sandy or rocky one. Beautiful nature, kind people, relaxed atmosphere.Guest review byMihaelaRomania - 10.0

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at an incredible villa a couple blocks from water and I can honestly say it was one of the most beautiful, quaint, and relaxing environments we've ever experienced. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the peaceful surroundings and the charm of the location—it felt like a true escape from the everyday. A true hidden gem that I almost didn't want to write a review about so I can keep it to my self! Favorite pizza was at Hotel Lipa and our favorite meal was at Dvor. You don't need a car here, super easy to walk, hike, bike or taxi around.Guest review byRachelUnited States - 10.0

It’s so pretty. A lovely change from crowded split. We have visited a few islands and this one is my favorite so far. Milna is pretty with everything you need within walking distance. We went to Bago restaurant which was about a 15 minute walk away which was amazing. Definitely worth a visit.Guest review byEmilyUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Sutivan is a small town on the island of Brac, which, unlike other more busy places, offers many more opportunities to relax, enjoy long walks, and watch the sunset. Traffic and loud music are "banned" in the core areas along the beach promenade and the old town, which allows for a serene, peaceful vacation.Guest review bySanyaAustria - 10.0
It's definitely not a party town, it is a peaceful village.
It's definitely not a party town, it is a peaceful village. The most entertainment was drinking cocktails at The Port bar and watching the yachts coming into the marina. There are no tourists shops (or any shops apart from the butcher and the supermarkets - which was fine with me but could be a negative for others who like to stroll and shop. Easy bus ride to Supetar to cure that need. The bus services in and out are easy - Supetar to Pucisca and then from there to Bol although it required a phone call from one driver to the other to wait at Gornje Humac to meet us. Easy.Guest review byAllison - 10.0

Selca is located in the eastern part of the island of Brač,...
Selca is located in the eastern part of the island of Brač, in the interior of the island, about 1 km from the sea at an altitude of 114 m. On the coast are the tourist zones Puntinak and Ružmarin located around the beautiful beaches of Radonja, Spilice and Žirje, which offer a wide selection of quality private accommodation in apartments and holiday homes. Selca is first mentioned in 1184 as a shepherd's settlement and later as a stonemasonry center on the island of Brač. The symbol of Selca is stone, which enabled the development of the stone industry, from which beautiful houses, churches and castles surrounded by beautiful parks. A particularly suggestive location is Glavica, where the old Croatian church of St. Nicholas of XI. century with a dome, above an abandoned old quarry. Selca and Sumartin are also known for their home-cooked food (lamb, cheese, wine, honey) and the rich offer of beautiful restaurants, which remain in the memories not only due to the appearance but also the rich domestic and international gastronomic offer. In Selca you will find all the conditions for a quiet holiday, pleasant swimming on the nearby beaches and in numerous bays, quality hospitality offer, while entertainment lovers have everything within reach in Bol, 20 km away.Guest review bythomasus77Slovakia - 8.0

We were happy that Povlja has a variety of beaches: city, bay, peninsula-top, secluded bay. We discovered real interesting things locally: the famous early Christian basilica, the viewpoint overlooking the entire bay, an abandoned war bunker on a nearby beach, the somersaults and head-jumps of local youth in the harbor in the evenings. There are also several restaurants and ice cream parlors. We ate excellent pizza and squid with tartar sauce.Guest review byVándorlóHungary
