Great place for families with children. The food was great, the facilities for the kids are fantastic. The hotel is super clean, the rooms are large, comfy, equipped with everything you need for small kids. The staff is amazing - paying attention to details. It’s a pleasure to write this review cause we are already not the first time here and guess what? It became even better and all our small comments from last time got improved! So thumbs up for the management to be that attentive to guests needs and open mindedness to change old approach. To summarize it all: 1. Spotless 2. We liked how everything was clean and comfortable in hotel. It's a small 3 star hotel, but imo it deserves more. Very well maintainted object, breakfast was tasty with good veriety of foods, good quality of mattresses and pillows, as well as toiletries. Staff was welcoming and helpful (especially receptionist István) who gave us an electric kettle that we could use in our room. Very much appreciated! We liked also nice natural area around hotel, fresh air, lots of trees.

    The staff (receptionists, Zalán - the bell boy, the restaurant staff, the masseuse, the ladies at the café) were all super kind, polite and professionals. When I checked in, I asked for some information about the massage. The receptionist remembered my request and introduced the masseuse to me while I was at the café. In the evening, he still remembered my room number when we went to have dinner - exceptionally professional! The room was clean and comfortable, the spa was enjoyable and super clean! There are restaurants around the hotel, the town centre is a 10-minute walk from the hotel. The food (we had breakfast and dinner) was amazing, we could choose from a big variety of dishes, and the coffee was amazing! We went there by car; the hotel has its own big car park, it's safe and only the hotel guests have access to it by using a card which opens the gate. There are different facilities for small children, the best is the bouncy inflatable castle. All in all, I can highly recommend this hotel to families, couples and solo travellers too.

    Despite our visit being very short, we had a really pleasant stay here. The room was nice and the staff were polite. We enjoyed the pool, plenty of sunbeds. The location is perfect, right on the Tagore promenade. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of food also, apart from international "standard" hotel food there were proper Hungarian dishes e.g. "borsófőzelék" and "túrós csusza" that tasted homemade and delicious, so all credits to the chefs. I hope to come back at some point in the future for a longer stay.

    It's a nice place where you can spend a great holiday. You have a lot of bike lanes to ride on. The lake is usually nice but sometimes it can be really muddy. A lot of restaurants so you surely can find something to eat. Overall a great place to be during summer and autumn.

    We liked the exhibition at the synagogue and the catacombs by the cathedral. The buildings in and around the main square have been tastefully restored. The modern shopping centre close to the hotel was impressive.

    I found service in Balatonfüred uneven.

    I found service in Balatonfüred uneven. The low point was restaurant Il Lago at the lakefront: despite looking inviting, the service felt dismissive and the prices were high for what we received. If you don't speak Hungarian, expect German to be the main language while English is less widely used.

    There is nothing to see, just Balaton lake. But, for us that was the reason to come since we wanted to avoid any outside activities. Just wanted to do be in the hotel and enjoy in SPA! Will come back for sure!

    Beautiful excursion place - Hungarian Provence.

    Beautiful excursion place - Hungarian Provence. I recommend visiting outside the main tourist season. The prices are higher, but the place offers an excellent starting point for walking, cycling or car tourism around Lake Balaton.

    Nice, small city with (paid) beach at Balaton lake. Full of tourist in the centre(parkings also paid) but if you go uphill - towards hills - you can find not only delicious wine but relaxing atmosphere.

    Nice small town, everything is walking distance. I would recommend Harkany Thermal spa where the whole family will enjoy. And if you want a special experience, take a swim in the outside pool in wintertime 😊

    I loved the street with small bars/restaurants made in wine cellars (look for a few that have a terrace on the other side - looking into the vineyards). Winetasting and lunch at GERE TAMÁS ÉS ZSOLT WINERY - would definitely recommend.

    Nice city, definitely suitable for a holiday. The center near the port is beautiful, well-kept. Around the road to the port there are many options to satisfy your thirst and hunger. There is also a smaller zoo, which is not large in size, but is largely contact-based, so it is an experience for children.
