Everything was excellent considering the price. The view, position among the rice fields, great pool with a view, room, beds, staff, were excellent. The breakfast was included and the food and coffee were very good.

Very quiet place, no road or any other noise. Very clean, newly renovated. Spacious enough to accommodate our family of four. Approx 10 minutes drive to the start of the waterfalls path (no gojek in this area). The place might feel quite isolated, although from our experience you have to choose between a good night sleep (like here) or being closer to some attractions (expect a lot of noise). Make your own choice.

What an amazing place!! A true exotic paradise location! Beautifully set, high in the mountains, this new built mini-resort provides all you need to experience the serenity, fantastic nature and friendly ways of local people. The bamboo cabin is so pretty, neat and comfortable - a large bed with a canopy and moskito curtains (not at all needed in February!), lovely wooden furniture, the bamboo finish and the lovely bathroom surrounded with the view of the local greenery and the mountains. Unforgettable. Eating area under a roof with 360 views of the surrounding nature, the beatutiful pool, fire place area and the vegetable garden for the needs of the resort's kitchen. The team is really nice, with a good knowledge of English and catering for any needs, including transfers, local trips and food requests. Local people are most friendly. They live modestly but are so rich through their culture and religious rituals, architecture and devotion! A real privilege to be a witness of some of it. A half day trip to the natural water slide, Sekumpul and Fiji waterfalls, cliff jump and the trek across the rice fields and the woodland - a once in a lifetime experience. Amazing views, overwhelming sense of power of nature and how local people have learned to peacefully harness it to their needs. A truly wholesome experience!

After hectic day in Padang Bai and long travel, this place was just calm and warm that gave us exactly what we needed: warm, friendly welcome, arranged dinner to be delivered, arranged us trip for next day, no bargains, just helpful staff. Staffs are friendly and helpful while stay and include before stay. They give me a lot of advise and ideas what we can do in this resort. We stayed at Beach villa that have a Cleanness Bed room with functional tile floor. Air condition is not cold too much. It's enough and very comfortable. We can find a lot of wildlife and birds , dears , monkeys, forest roosters, sandpipers, kingfisher and small birds around Villa. When we go to the beach, There is a balcony and beach bed that along a beautiful beach to go to a beach directly. At snorkeling, We went and swam into the sea from a front of villa towards jetty. We could see Pacific batfish, Shrimpfish and another a lot of fishes and corals. And In a morning , We join Birding tour, We found Bali myna.

Staff were very friendly, attentive, welcoming and helpful. The view from the pool amazing and very relaxing. The bungalow was nice and comfortable. Food was very delicious (just please, add Balinese coffee to your meniu not just in the breakfast time. It is nice to try not only local food but local coffee as well). We liked this place a lot and enjoyed every minute. Thank you for the great time!

The staff were incredible, helping look after my mum when she was ill and changing the sheets more often than they would normally have to. The included breakfast is delicious and sets you up for the day with a healthy start. The swimming pool is also very large and refreshing and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. One of the best places I've stayed in Bali and I'd highly recommend!!

What can I say? This place is perfectly hidden away in a beautiful location right beside the beach, amongst beautiful gardens. The staff are amazing and make you feel at home. Always a friendly smile, and they will go out of their way to make sure you have the best stay here. The food is excellent too. My second time there, and definitely not my last.

We stayed near Agung beach to far away from Lovina beach where there are more options for dining and entertainment. The highlight of our Lovina stay was our trip to Menjangan Island, however it was an hour and a half drive from Lovina. Menjangan is mentioned in all the tour options as a 20 minute boat ride, it is, but only after the long drive.

Temperature (around 18-19 degrees celcius in the evening) and beautiful countryside and vegetation - many waterfall walks available (although quite tourist heavy). Beautiful area and totally different to the various beach spots of Bali.

The area he’s like Bali 40 years ago. You are better off staying at a resort on the northern end of the beach, they are beautiful clean and with excellent food and staff, and away from the mosque. Eco Taste, Dimpil Beach Bar, Wrung Rama, The Sage excellent places to eat with cheap healthy fresh food. The Taman, Sari resort & Amertha Resort also have excellent food but more expensive.

Nice relaxed rural/coastal Bali, great place to just wind it back and take time to slow down. Snorkeling, temple tours both great, hot springs are truely hot and well worth the visit (anytime of day or night), but I’ll mostly remember the friendly approachable people in the neighbourhood. Lovely people (great food)

Located outside of Singaraja by about 10kms is "OMunity Bali". It is situated in the traditional highland village of Sudaji.. To get to this location you need to make your own transport arrangements to go there and especially leaving is harder as the local Grab App doesn't seem to reach to here. OMunity prepared food is delicious and creative but eating out elsewhere didn't have much choice esp if vegetarian. The ambience is relaxing, friendly and uncrowded. Walking around the neighborhood is pleasant, and there are short road trips with walks or treks to some of the most stunning scenic places in Bali.

The lack of traffic, the water is clean and clear I I live in Cairns on The Great Barrier Reef and found some splendid fresh, alive and undamaged coral to the right of a place called Prana Veda. Friendly people, no one nagging you. I eat wherever the locals eat usually, get a scooter use map app and explore

It is great to stay in the north of Bali! Getting around takes time and requires a private driver. Management & Staff was just Wonderful and made all our wishes come true. Very quiet and untouched part of Bali. Beautiful, long, near-secluded, coconut-tree-fringed beaches in Kaliasem, just ten minutes out of the main Lovina strip area. Local, traditional warungs on the beach. A world apart from Canggu, Kuta, Seminyak. It still retains the old Bali charm. Very, very laid back.

The area around Munduk is very hilly so it is good to be...

The area around Munduk is very hilly so it is good to be prepared for this if doing a lot of walking. If you don’t have your own wheels, you are mostly reliant on local transport/drivers,to get to a number of attractions in the area. We enjoyed a visit to the Lakes and the Botanical Gardens which were very peaceful. Walking the 5 local waterfalls from Golden Valley was a highlight, which took us most of the day. Next time I would go on the canoes on Tamblingan Lake. It looked like fun.

It was quiet and peaceful, away from the busy southern parts...

It was quiet and peaceful, away from the busy southern parts of Bali. The downside is it takes 4 hours due to traffic leaving the south and slow moving traffic heading up into the mountains due to winding, narrow roads.
