    We came at October the 7th and stayed two nights longer than we have planned because the staff and the owner made us feel very safe. They told us where to go safely, they even invited us for breakfast. The pool area was very relaxing.     This is a happening place, with a large variety of restaurants, sightseeing and activities. Best to stay at a nice seafront hotel. Do not skimp on good accommodations. We were there for business, so our choice of hotel was not optimal. Next time, I'll stay at a tourist luxury hotel, even if I am not there as a tourist. Shopping mall, late night vibe, historical architecture, boardwalk, watersports, and lots and lots of people!

    A fascinating blend of cultures.

    A fascinating blend of cultures. This ancient city has incredible architecture going back centuries, beaches, amazing markets along with a huge number of things to see and do. It is expensive - we could not afford the top end restaurants and most of the exhibits charge entry. Drive out of the city for even more.... This was my favourite stop in Israel and I would have liked to stay a week.

    Rosh Pina by itself isn't a big town, but it's special location, due to it being rather different than other urban areas in Israel. The view is great, and you can feel Israel's history in the decorations when walking up towards the hilltop. Additionally, the town is filled with art related locales, which is really good for people are into crafting.

    The accommodation is basic, kibbutz country lodging-style. The staff are very helpful. The location is superb: Magnificent view of the whole Lake Kinneret from the dining-room large bay windows; wonderful walking the lakeside paths (part of the Israel Trail) at sundown, quiet little beaches with plentiful birdlife - waterbirds, and ever-changing hues across the water.

    The best anchor point in the north from where you can conveniently visit many interesting locations in the Galilee and the Golan Heights. Public transport will take you to your chosen point in Gallilea and Around Lake Kinneret very conveniently and inexpensively.
