The check-in process was very smooth and reception staff (Mr. Anand and Suraj) were very kind and polite. The hotel is located in close proximity to the ganges and there are a variety of eating options around the hotel. The hotel restuarant serves delicious food as well.     The property was in the perfect location along the banks of the Holy river Ganges. The lush gardens were like an oasis which created the atmosphere of relaxation amongst the beauty of nature. The room was large,cleaned daily and very comfortable. the toiletries provided were of a very high standard (forest essential products)The staff were outstanding tending to your every needs. We were totally spoiled by the entire staff for our wedding anniversary by: a bunch of red roses,freshly baked anniversary cake, floral sign across our bed then a bottle of champagne for dinner together with a private table on a private deck with music and another chocolate freshly baked anniversary cake. To top this off everywhere we went on that day, in the resort, the staff would wish us a Happy Anniversary. WOW WOW WOW. I loved the morning yoga sessions by the river and the spa treatments added to the state of rest and relaxation. Spa staff were very friendly and professional. Happy Hour at the bar went for two hours. A bit pricey but worth every penny.

    The hotel location is excellent offering best of both the worlds. its surrounded by lush greenery and dense tree cover and yet it is close to the bustling and happening hill station of Mussoorie. The breakfast was a lavish spread of various cuisines - continental, north Indian and south Indian. The presentation and layout was immaculate and the preparation was lip smacking. Above all the staff was ever ready to help and always had smiling faces. All in all a memorable experience - would definitely come again.

    Ease, the staff. Gym was superb, location- I ended up giving a video testimonial. What I loved was, my daughter was talking with a friend till about 4 am (teenagers!!) And the security guy asked her to use the banquet hall! I mean the care and calmness these folks have - who does it! So I would recommend this anytime! And yea, they gave us late (VERY LATE) checkout by 4 hours at 800 rs.. which is really cool!

Food at Emily’s was consistently good. Tea garden and the afternoon tea was a treat. An amazing place to stay for a few days away. Will definitely be back!

    Mussoorie is a beautiful place, almost perfect in its charm, though quite costly. It’s an ideal destination for honeymoons and couples, but not as enjoyable for groups of friends. The experience is truly magical—you feel as if you’re on the clouds. One small note: if you prefer food with minimal salt, do request it in advance, as we found most dishes to be on the saltier side.

    Not green enough, options other than resorts are minimal or nil. We went to kosi river ramnagar it was very dirty. N a food restaurant near it was very unhygienic, it was smelling of dead rats. It was pathetic.

    I have a request to all the travelers, to all the brothers, Hotel Satyanarayan is a fake hotel, it is fake property, I had made booking for it and had also given 50% advance when I reached Kedarnath and I When I reached Kedarnath, even though I was 50 percent safe, these people took me away from the salon and also blocked me after filing an FIR.

    There are many more less explored resorts in Uttrakhand like ranikhet mukteshwar etc which offer pristine and great panoramic view. Bhimtal is crowded and may be okay for the first time travellers to Uttrakhand.

    Haldwani is a city bursting with life. It is located in the foothills of Himalayas. It has issues of Traffic congestion,due to this being a place connecting Nainital and other beautiful locations. It has a bunch of good restaurants and shopping malls. Overall a good city!

    Spending time by the Ganga was wonderful—great food (especially near Parmarth Niketan), calm beaches, and plenty of places to explore. The only downside was that some groups of youngsters were there just to smoke and drink, which can spoil the vibe. My advice: double-check your stay before booking so you don’t run into that issue.
