It's a place with positive energy, fresh vibes, and stunning view. We booked a Premium Lake View Room and Family Duplex Suite.
Family Duplex suite had ample space. A private ait out area. The top floor had its own toilet and shower, which was thoughtful and super handy, also its own sit out area, apart from the bed. Premium Lake View room had a stunning view from the room and balcony.
A special shout out to the staff. Every member of staff was helpful and had a super pleasant personality. Hope they can keep this up.
Wide variety of food options during breakfast, lunch, and dinner and the food tasted simply fab. Every dish was top-notch.
We were travelling with kids, and their games room and bicycles were brilliant. The swimming pool is well maintained and clean. Perfect place for a getaway.
Ordered 4 cakes for DD's birthday, and the cakes were so delicious.

The Superior Villa with Lake View is fabulous
We were celebrating 50th B-day of my husband and they organized a cake, that was delivered in the room for breakfast
In the evening we enjoyed the activity - typical dance and music
The Spa is stunning +++
The restaurant fabulous! The Indian food ++very good and a great service team
We requested to help us to organize the backwater tour in the area of the hotel and it was amazing. Don't miss it! (much better than the one's in Alleppey)
Location, you can enjoy the gardens, swimming pool, lake view or go out of the hotel for a walk

Location and layout of the hotel, Looks great from photos, but quite Run down property and staff need more training on the hospitality side. Gym machine are all written and rusted, dont even bother going there. Swimming pool in a poor condition.

Our recent stay at the Rhythm Resort was truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The location was perfect, nestled amidst lush greenery with stunning views of Vembanad Lake. The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully designed, with modern amenities. The resort's amenities were impressive, including a fantastic pool area, a well-equipped fitness center, and a variety of dining options that catered to all tastes.

Didn't see much of the main part of Vaikom but did walks...
Didn't see much of the main part of Vaikom but did walks around the homestay. Visited a Temple and was lucky enough to see a ceremony which involved drumming, dancing, elaborate make-up and fire. There is a Ghandi memorial park to see which is very interesting.

Kumarakom is a beautiful village famous for its serene backwaters, lakes filled with lotus, small roads and above all, its warm and welcoming people. Found it easy to engage in delightful conversations, experiencing genuine local hospitality and culture firsthand.
However, if you are unaccustomed to village life, a few precautions will enhance your experience. Always carry mosquito repellent, especially during evenings near the water bodies, Don't drink Toddy and Spicy foods

Good : Great waterfront locations, lots of superb landscaped...
Good : Great waterfront locations, lots of superb landscaped resorts with lots of birds and calm and quiet neighbourhood.
Bad : Very few good restaurants in and around the area, and food served at most of the upscale star hotels and resorts is very poor in quality and expensive, especially the dinner.
Note : Avoid during peak summer (March & April) as it is very hot and humid.
