Cathedral is jaw dropping - we did the roof walk - well worth doing. Used the hop on and hop off bus for 2 days (much better value) and did the whole circuit on day one and went back to our selected locations for a longer visit on day two. The Castello grounds are well worth a visit as is the museum of Arts (free entry) at the far end of the castle gardens. Loads of nice restaurants if you move away from the top tourist spots. Felt very safe walking around while we were there. We really enjoyed a visit to the Canals which are located to the south of the city - nice canal side restaurants and bars - we had no idea Milan had canals. Final tip - find the Luna Rossa Osteria/Restaurant in Via Broletto and go for lunch, but be there by 12 noon as it fills up with locals very rapidly - doesn't look much from the outside but serves fantastic food with a great atmosphere.Guest review byPaulUnited Kingdom - 10.0
We love Venice! This was our second visit.
We love Venice! This was our second visit. There is so much to see and we enjoyed just walking around and exploring! Of course, the gelato was fun! We had booked a walking tour with The Tour Guy which included San Marco and The Doges Palace and a 30 minute gondola ride. We were expecting rain, and were thrilled that the weather was clear.it was chilly though and a bit windy.i wore layers of tops and jackets. We went to Murano on Wednesday which was a fun trip and also visited the Leonardo da Vinci Interactive Museum, which we enjoyed. It was a wonderful 4 days.Guest review byJillUnited States - 10.0
Verona — a city you can’t help but fall in love with 💛
Verona — a city you can’t help but fall in love with 💛 Walking through its charming streets feels like traveling back in time. Narrow cobblestone lanes, cozy cafés, the sound of street musicians, and the aroma of fresh espresso create a truly magical atmosphere. The Verona Arena is breathtaking — especially at sunset, when its ancient walls glow in golden light. The view from Ponte Pietra is simply unforgettable, and a stroll along the Adige River reveals the city’s romantic soul. Verona isn’t just the city of Romeo and Juliet — it’s a place where history and modern life blend perfectly. I’ll definitely come back one day ❤️Guest review byMGreenchGeorgia - 10.0

Turin is not as touristy as other Italian cities I’ve visited and that made it really great. It has the lovely plazas and churches and also has this amazing view of the Alps. We visited the duomo, climbed the tower, shopped at the Saturday market, went to the Egyptian museum and walked along the Po River. We also made a half day trip to Reggia di Venaria which is gorgeous. We got around easily on buses or by foot. The city is not huge and the side trips are all well connected by public transport. I could have stayed longer and explored each square more and taken more day trips to nearby sites like the Superga, the Fenis, and even Mont Blanc! The cuisine here is heavy and not for everyone but we enjoyed trying new things (veal with tuna, savory flan, etc) and of course you have to get Barrolos and Barbereacas everywhere but also martinis and other vermouth cocktails.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

The feeling you stay in an old and new place ,like a history travel.Very clean and friendly city.Pet friendly. Beatiful small taverns ,cafe with tables outside. Lot of shops. And if you have some hours to spent before your flight back, you can go to Orio center Mall , a super Mall with anything you like inside, only 5 minutes from the Airport Arrivals. We left our baggages in a locker place near KFC and in the path to the Mall so we can spent there more than 5 hours!Guest review byΡΙΖΟΣ - 10.0

Although I spent most of my time in Venice, I enjoyed the casual walkable surroundings. Good coffee shops and restaurants close by. The bus into Venice took 10 minutes and ran often. The train station was also close by. Staying in Mestre was certainly less hectic than staying in Venice so it was quite enjoyable.Guest review byronUnited States - 10.0

Lake Como is beautiful but too crowded for this time of the year and the parking sucks! There are bunch of little cities around the Lake, like Bellagio, Lecco, Varenna, Tremezzo, Menaggio , and our favorite was Tremezzo!Guest review byNiloofarUnited States - 10.0

College town with nice squares, historic buildings, museums and university without all the tourists. No big tourist groups or buses. Felt more like a real livable city with a local community. Prices for food and drinks were very reasonable relative to the more popular tourist locations.Guest review byDR Ron GUnited States - 10.0
Sirmione was a real find for Lake Garda.
Sirmione was a real find for Lake Garda. It has the amazing old town with its cobbled streets and history, but also has the newer town which has loads of restaurants and shops, as well as the marina. It is really easy to get to other parts of the lake from Sirmione, either by car or by boat, so it was a great base. It was also easy to get to other parts of Italy from there, so a great location.Guest review byCarolUnited Kingdom
