The location is truly beautiful but remotie. There is a good bus service to Taormina but not so great in the opposite direction for evening meals etc. We caught a bus there (only 2 stops, not even 5 minutes) & a taxi back cost 20 Euro. There is no pavement on the road to the hotel & whilst we did take a walk out it was walking down the side of the road & you needed to be very aware of the traffic.Guest review byGemma - 10.0

Alot of people do not speak english, and everything there including street sign are in ilalian. Had an excustion to the godfather on a hop on hop off bus(green) I had ordered from Get Your Guide and went 2 hours early and the direction they gave us was wrong and couldnt find the place for pick up in mountain. Had no wifi on my phone, even when i paid extra to get itWIFI on my phone. Tried to ask people but on one knew where to go. Traffic was terrible where the address was to pick up. So i ended up not making the excurion, and company is not giving me a refund. Also the rest RISTORANTE SABBIE D' ORO charged us $162.00(euro) for a 1 lobster. They stood over us until we order, couldnt speak english and the menu said 18 euros for a one lobster, thought that was a good price. Pressed us with extra stuff we did not want to order, because we could not understand them. Then we go to pay there system was down and couldnt take no visa or MC. Our bill was $350 eros.
