Way too touristy - it has become like Venice.
Way too touristy - it has become like Venice. A short stay, followed by exploration of other regions, is my recommendation. We had a great visit to Parma - better food/restaurants and way less crowded.Guest review byPeterAustralia - 10.0
A big city.
A big city. It has an historical side, a modern one with conferences hall or big supermarkets, an luxury old vilas road, an old moschee and Arab city-quartier, as well a touristic one with very long beach-side, with good infrastructure like a big railway station, many buses, including a direct bus to San-Marino each hour, many bike-roads (everywhere), modern bridges, many sport- playgrounds and parks, gluten-free restaurants, fish-restaurants and a harbour (port) for small boats. We had a 6 nights stay but I want to come back. It was not the time to visit all (for example Italy in miniature). I was very content with the services on Beach 33 (even a seif for wallets or keys). And with a gluten-free artisanal Gelateria with amazing tiramissu, close to Carrefour, not far away to the railway station.Guest review byOanaGermany - 10.0

We visited all the touristic atractions, especially museums and palaces. A lot of the were with free entrance. We found very, very good restaurants, even for the best evaluated ones it is needed to reserve.Guest review byDoru1234Romania - 8.0

Riccione is a very cool town, ideal if you're looking for a vacation where relaxation and fun take center stage. It may not boast the historical past of Rimini (which dates back to Roman times), but it’s packed with high-end shops, great restaurants, cinemas, and more — so you won’t have any trouble finding something interesting to do. This year, the municipality launched an International Festival dedicated to TV series, with a program featuring premieres and interviews with famous screenwriters, directors, and actors. If you're a night owl, you can spend the night in one of the many clubs nestled in the surrounding hills.Guest review byDanieleMOItaly - 8.0

I can't tell you anything. This time we just passed through on our way down south but we've been there earlier. We liked it then and I am sorry we couldn't stay longer this time. But there were other priorities.Guest review byVida A.Slovenia - 8.0

I was enchanted by the old town.
I was enchanted by the old town. I was here purely by chance for a wedding and had no idea that this city had such a beautiful old and cozy center. I highly recommend it to anyone who likes "old" Italy.Guest review byWigmakerCzech Republic - 6.0

At the time of our visit, the Piazza Maggiore was full of tents with protesters, "supporting" Palestine. A strong presence of police also. This ruined the beautiful Renaissance Piazza and did not make for a relaxing stay. On last day of our visit, we were at the train station when a demonstration outside turned violet and demonstrators attacked police, who had to set off teargas. To keep the mob out of the station, the doors had to be locked so we were trapped in the station. Also, there is a lot of construction going on to extend the tramway system, so again, it detracted from what is a beautiful city. I would not recommend a visit to Bologna until these demonstrations are no longer taking place. We did 2 very good guided tours: one of the historic centre and the other of the first university in Bologna. Had some very good food but also some not good. Overall a mixed experienceGuest review byJeanUnited Kingdom
