I booked short term in the off season after looking at the very good weather report (end of October). I chose to come to this island for the many open air thermal waters. We had the place almost to ourselves so you can imagine this was a slice of heaven. As most will agree Oscar is an exceptional host who makes you feel most welcome. I ask only once where we could get water and there were two bottles in the fridge after the apartment was cleaned for the day. This is the type of host he is. I was traveling alone with young children and felt most safe and comfortable. Lovely typical Sicilian breakfast and property decorated in tasteful, artsy fashion very inducive to relaxing. Absolutely excellent and very large, clean pool!!!! Close to the town of Pantelleria but far enough to feel immersed in nature. Highly recommended!Guest review byEllen DianeGermany

PAntelleria is one of those places which you either like or dislike; its shortcomings and very unspoilt nature are its beauty; the people too are relaxed and have learnt to ,make the best of their harsh environment; we were amazed at how its natural beauties have not been commercialized yet and at the good quality of the food in the restaurants ; sometimes even surprised with some particular cuisine like sweet made from ricotta and capers which is one of their limited produceGuest review byAnthonyMalta
