- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.7Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 240 reviewsA stunning hotel, located a few hundred meters from the busy center of Amalfi, the view from the hotel is like the most beautiful painting, we got a very beautiful room, full of stylish lamps and accessories, with an amazing view. The hotel has its own beach, which is not common on the Amalfi Coast, you can spend a day right by the sea. The hotel has two restaurants, including one right next to the beach, the Amalfi and sea view from the restaurant is amazing. Excellent breakfasts, service, everything. There is also a small souvenir shop and very beautiful handmade jewelry. Amazing place!Guest review byEwaPoland
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 7.8Good - What previous guests thought, 67 reviewsThis is a lovely resort for a family holiday. Right on a lovely beach, we had a very comfortable apartment. It is in a small secluded area but a 20 minute walk (up steps but manageable) brings you to the lovely town of Vico Equense. There is also a shuttle bus almost every hour up to the train station. From the train it was v easy to get to Pompeii or Sorrento. (Using the local Circumvesuviana train route). It is also handy for trips to Capri or along Amalfi coast. Restaurant on site is spectacular, and there are 2 or 3 other good options next door.Guest review bySusanIreland
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.6Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 130 reviewsThe staff were exceptional! There was nothing that wasn't a challenge and they were easy to communicate with via whatsapp prior to our arrival. The wellness spa with sauna and a swim is allocated for one hour (per room) and was a wonderful experience. The room and view is incredible, for us it was well worth the value/price. The plunge pool is ambient temperature however in May we found that the evening sun heated it perfectly. The sun set and it was comfortable even at 10pm. Breakfast is a must to eat on the deck!Guest review byJustinAustralia

We loved the lower-key vibe of this city.
We loved the lower-key vibe of this city. It was the perfect ending of our near 5 week European trip. Crowds (in early Oct), were moderate and not at all oppressive and 95% of everything to do in Sorrento was an easy 20 min walk or less. We loved taking a day trip to Capri and leisurely shopping there and in Sorrento. Getting to and from the train station to our apartment was about a 5 min walk. And the food!!! was fabulous! We'll be back in the future for certain!Guest review bykenUnited States - 10.0
This was a bucket list place gor me.
This was a bucket list place gor me. Wish I could have stayed there for weeks. So much to see and so easy to do day trips to othere places. Highly recommend. There is a little café in front of the ferry port fantastic breakfast.Guest review byBookminxUnited States - 8.0
Town is most beautiful seen from the sea or a high terrace.
Town is most beautiful seen from the sea or a high terrace. Friendly people. Gets overrun by tourists, even October. Lots of hills and steps, and taxi’s are a flat rate of 35 euros, adds up fast. Better to walk and avoid traffic jams. La Pergola on the beach for pizza, also for spaghetti and clams. Ohima for great vibes and good food. Il Pallazo for special evening. Ferries to visit Amalfi and Ravello. See Capri and ride the chairlift. Relax and have fun.Guest review byAndreaUnited States - 10.0

Maiori is lovely, spread out and calm. There are plenty of shops to poke about in and even more restaurants and gelato places to sample. We loved the cleanliness and safety of the sidewalks. It felt spacious.Guest review bySandraCanada - 10.0

We stayed in the hills of Vico Equense at Villa Rosa and went to the town for a day. It was a charming town with incredible views. For those travelers going to Sorrento, I would recommend taking a stop in Vico Equense. For those who want truly incredible food, I would highly recommend having dinner at Villa Rosa.Guest review byBrianUnited States - 10.0
Ravello is fantastic. So quiet - much preferable to Amalfi.
Ravello is fantastic. So quiet - much preferable to Amalfi. Steep. Lots of walking. A lovely village by night with some great food. Mimis is just a fantastic restaurant with excellent an menu and wonderful staff. The meals are amazing! Several small shops which have all required if self catering. Walk the back streets. Such a photogenic town. Really pleasant in evenings when many return to Amalfi or to ferries.Guest review byJezAustralia - 8.0
Agerola provides an escape from the tourist busy towns on...
Agerola provides an escape from the tourist busy towns on the Amalfi coast. It is higher in elevation than the towns of Amalfi, Positano and Maiori. These towns are port towns and in the busy travel months are always full of tourists. However, there is more to do in these towns than in Agerola, and if you plan to only stay in one of those towns, only go between 2 close towns, spend your vacation time on the beach, then I would recommend to stay in one of the coast towns. If you want a more central point to all of these and other towns (ex. Sorrento, Ravello, etc...) and plan to travel each day to a new town and a quiet place to rest at night, then Agerola is a great place to stay. If you stay in Agerola and since the roads are one lane both ways, you have to factor in travel times to all other towns (in case you need to catch a ferry, have dinner reservations, etc...).Guest review byHarryUnited States - 10.0

Castellammare di Stabia is a normal working town and much less touristy compared to Sorrento and the Amalfi coast. It has great views across the Bay of Naples towards Mount Vesuvius. It is on the Circumvesuviana train line, so easy to get into Naples, Pompeii and Sorrento without a car. It was a very friendly and welcoming place. There are quite a few restaurants to choose from, although opening days and times were a bit erratic.Guest review byJuliaUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Lots of ceramic shops selling almost the same items. many good restaurants within walking distance. Arrive by train then take the accensore (elevator) down to the town - the lift-well is lined with blue tiles and fish. Gorgeous. The ferry stops down at the bay and bus 68 takes you up to the town for 1.4euro. Buy the ticket from the ladies in the ceramic shop near the bus stop before you board and validate on the bus.Guest review byPamelaAustralia - 8.0

It's away from the noise of the crowds but still a 20 minutes bus drive away (so you don't have to worry about parking or driving those tight roads) - and the way over is very beuatiful. Massa Lubrense itself is beautiful, it has nice mountain views, nice people and nice restaurants, supermarkets and shops. It is also 'on the way' to the Amalfi coast, so if you're planning on continuing your trip later its a nice place to stick around for a while.Guest review byHarelIsrael
