Madame on reception was very, very nice and helpfull. Hotel is beautiful everything is new and stylish. Rooms and clean and new. Breakfast are very practical and great choices. I will definitely come back when I will have opportunity. Location is great just next to the Lago. Overall 10/10

The location is fantastic and it was so nice to have a two minute walk to the hotel from Terminal 2 where we had endured a most frustrating and miserable afternoon at the hands of Easy jet. The Hotel Reception staff put helped us relax right away with their welcome and efficiency in checking us in. We then had a perfect light evening meal and were able to relax before going to our room which was an excellently designed and equipped room for our overnight stay. Early the next morning, we took the Airport Shuttle Bus to Terminal 1. The Bus Stop was visible from the Hotel and just a two minute walk away.

    I strongly recommend staying in this hotel when you are in transit in Malpensa. It is a good value for money (I booked last minute and alternative options were 2-3x higher price while Sheraton was 5x😣) - rooms are basic but spacious and everything you need for your stay is there. Shuttle service is very convenient and breakfast is typical Italian (better than in some 4* hotels in posh places like Forte die Marmi). All staff were extremely friendly: front desk, breakfast lady and shuttle driver). The territory is nice with flowers blossoming and birds chirping.

    For my standards is the best hotel. 1st parking 2nd it is hotel!!! ,no b&b. Enough with the b&bs . 3rd The room was very clean . The WiFi is ok , the restaurant is ok! Everything is ok ,depend what are you looking for. If you are looking to be at Milan city centre maybe is far away. But for myself to be at one day in Vercelli - Como - biella for my business with my car it is perfect!! 10/10 . That's the reason that i went second time there. And i will go again!

    Hotel easy to find although there was some confusion at the airport as to where the free airport shuttle bus left from but perhaps the driver was just having an off day. The room was well equipped and spacious but we had no hot water in the morning. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Staff were very helpful and friendly

    It's a great place to stay if you need to be near the airport. We drove for the afternoon to Milano. It was an easy drive. Best to use the airport shuttle rather than have to deal with turning in a rental car since that place in the airport was confusing.

    I wish I had taken the opportunity of the shuttle bus to the hotel - I drove and took a wrong turn and almost ended up in Switzerland! - and hired the car the following day! It was very late. The hotel was clean, the staff were very welcoming and considerate even though it was gone 23:00 when we arrived. The room was well-appointed but not fancy: it had everything one needed for the night. The breakfast the following morning was solid fare: good coffee and croissants, just right for setting out on a journey.

    Villa Cagnola is not in Varese but 6 kms outside the town. If you are just passing through on an overnight stop then you need time to see the city. We walked to the nearest restaurant and had a very good dinner, beautifully served. This was in Gazzada.

    Really agreeable hotel. Great and comfortable rooms, nice and quiet location. Good breakfast (unfortunately served in an underground floor with no natural light). Beautiful garden and pool that we didn’t have the time to use!!

    This is an interesting small town with two spectacular...

    This is an interesting small town with two spectacular churches in particular. The main reason for staying a night at the beginning or end of a trip is the proximity to Milan Malpensa Airport (15 mins by express train) and the fact that accommodation and restaurants are much cheaper than at the airport itself.

It was a big, beautiful, immaculately clean place with such helpful hosts that aided us with needless worry about returning our rental car and how to find a close gas station. I t was so much better than staying right at the airport with .so many other people

    Even just before leaving Italy after a great trip, you can enjoy the cute little town with an interesting river flowing through it. We also visited some of the high lights of the town as Villa Agusta,Ponte di Oleggio and Parco Naturale.

    I only stayed overnight but had time in the morning to walk around the area. It's a mix of old an modern which is lovely. There are a few cathedrals within walking distance near the Tower Hotel where I stayed, quite a number or restaurants and lots of charm. I would love to see more.

    Gallarate is a small town near Malpensa Airport.

    Gallarate is a small town near Malpensa Airport. It is only a short drive (approx 1 hour) to Lake Maggiore and also Lake Como. Best to take the autostrada to Como as the toll charge is very small. There are also other small towns nearby that are worth visiting, e.g. Novara and Vercelli. There is a railway station that connects through to Milan.
