What a special place to stay. Beautiful rooms in a 16th century palazzo right in the centre of the old town, everything was thoughtful and beautifully appointed. The staff were, without exception, welcoming, warm and helpful. One of the loveliest places I have stayed in.

    Amazing location. A pleasant option to use the hotel transfer to the beach. The hotel has a dedicated section on the beach with umbrellas for hotel guests. The pool at the hotel is very large and clean. The food is absolutely amazing. For breakfast there is a great selection of delicious and fresh food, great cakes and pastries. Even the staff will fix you a fresh coffee at the bar in the morning. I recommend ordering with half board, dinner was served 4 course menu. Excellent choice of Apulia cuisine. Every night we tasted a bit of southern Italy. We had an amazing time staying here

    Me and my boyfriend stayed for a long weekend in May at this beautiful, truly private, magical place and we had the best time. The people, especially the host, Adriano, were extremely kind, warm and welcoming, it was hard to leave. The property is stunning, a dreamy place with history, the rooms we saw (we had to switch at some point) were very classy and beautiful. The perfect place to charge batteries, also, incredible food. I am absolutely thrilled and will hopefully be able to come back some time!

    For the first time I had a holiday in an all inclusive hotel and I liked absolutely everything. Firstly it is a beautiful beach, secondly very good territory, where there is absolutely everything for recreation. We holidayed with a baby and I want to say that this is an ideal place for a holiday with children. Very good food, great choice of dishes, everything is fresh, great choice of desserts.     We had the great luck to be upgraded to the suite version for our one night stay and we are so grateful we did. The building was stunning both inside and out.     Bari is such a beautiful city. It is really worth going, especially in September when the weather is similar to summer and there aren’t so many tourists. You really must go to Alberobello, Monopoli and Polignano a Mare. There are plenty of opportunities whether you want a sightseeing holiday or a sunbathing holiday. You can do both there!

    There are so many eloquent descriptions of Lecce, its buildings, its food culture and friendly, welcoming, residents. I found them all to be accurate for the old town, but also for the more residential areas around the university where I stayed for over a week. In truth, the historical highlights, and great food could adequately be covered in 3/4 days, but the deeper wanderings around the town, enjoying the fantastic antiquity collections of Museo Sigismondo Castromediano could not be adequately enjoyed in that time. So, if you do have time, kick back a little, explore beyond the obvious and enjoy the relaxed charm on offer. Restaurants filled with different takes on classics, or into the traditional family filled eateries which abound outside the centre. A lovely place!

    Monopoli was a perfect base for us to see Puglia. Loved getting lost in the maze of narrow streets in the Old Town. Recommended Calette Torre Cintola to a couple staying at our hotel and they loved it as well. Also Recommended Micasa which has great location, friendly staff and great food at reasonable prices.

    Alberobello is a beautiful town but gets super busy. If possible visit early morning, or late evening to miss the crowds. The night view is as wonderful as day time with the Trullis lit up. Plenty of parking - either on the roadside approaching the town, or in the shared car parks. Lots of places to eat - all reasonably priced and comparable for the area

    Vieste is really interesting and pretty old town and the people are friendly. Good standard of restaurants and not overpriced. There's a port where we hired a boat or you can get a boat trip. Some parts are very steep but worth walking up for the views. We stayed on the beach, a 25 min walk in along the beach but worth it or there's a bus for 2 euros p.p Would definitely recommend it :)

    Laid back seaside town.

    Laid back seaside town. Cafe Mada near the station serves beautiful baked snacks (peanut free) and quality coffee at good prices. The Appian Way columns were an impressive sight. We missed out on walking along the main promenade which looks a nice thing to do.
