We've stayed in a two bedroom apartment. Very comfortable, luxury amenities and extremely clean. Breakfast was excellent with lots of options provided. There is an excellent restaurant on site as well where we've had dinner one night. The surroundings are wonderful and impeccably maintained as well as the pool area. We had an amazing stay! Thank you

My stay at this hotel was truly exceptional. The property itself is a hidden gem, offering a perfect blend of luxury and intimacy. Nestled in a tranquil, serene setting far from the hustle and bustle of the city, it provides the ideal escape for those seeking peace and relaxation. The ambiance is both elegant and cozy, creating an inviting atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The culinary experience was nothing short of extraordinary. Each dinner was a masterpiece, skillfully prepared with the finest ingredients. The absence of city noise added to the charm.

Such a lovely quiet countryside hotel - which was super convenient as the bus from Florence dropped us off at the bottom of the drive!! We were there for a wedding in local castle & the owner very kindly offered to drop us as it was 30min drive in sweltering heat. We walked as we wanted to appreciate the views. The pool was perfect & we had such a lovely relaxed time reading our books & staying away from the high sun! Breakfast was substantial continental spread & we had a super tasty omelette on first morning.

Everything was simply sublime. I worked with the hotel staff to prepare a proposal for my now fiancé and everything went off without a hitch. Gigi,Riccardo, and every single member of the staff did such an amazing job in preparation and making our stay there welcome. Fattoria San Donato was exactly what I pictured an idyllic Italian "cottage" would be. The room was beautiful, rustic and cozy, the breakfast delicious. On a warm day, I could sit in the courtyard forever sipping cappuccino and petting their sweet family dog Merlot. Wish I could've stayed longer!

I have been to Tuscany more times than I can count. This is my first time stopping in and staying in Colle di Val d'Elsa. The location is very close to all the major sites in Tuscany. Volterra and San Gimignano are extremely closeby as well as Chianti. There is a charm to the old town area of Colle di Val d'Elsa, not a ton of tourists like the other sites in the area.

The apartement was even nicer than pictures. There was oil and a bit of vinegar as well as salt and pepper. It would have been nice to have a few more amenities. The pool looked really nice but we did not have time to take advantage of it. Check in was easy even though we arrived very late at night. Same for the check out.

Fantastic little town with tonnes of restaurants and cafes to choose from. The museum ticket is great value as it gets you into lots of the historic sights. We enjoyed the weaponry exhibit as you were allowed to hold and try on the different artefacts which was cool! We parked nearby and paid with card on exit (only line up at the ticket machine if you’re paying cash). The onsite wine shop (connected to the popular winery near by) was delicious too. Would definitely recommend this town for people to visit and dine at!

Cute little spot, we only stayed there for one evening on our way down to Val D'Orcia from Pisa Airport. The town itself is lovely, we came on a Thursday evening and wandered into the village for a pizza at Happy Days which was great and so tasty, the staff were also lovely. There was also some great karaoke going on at one of the bars which seemed to be locals and some tourists enjoying their evening. It was lovely! Definitely recommend visiting here, there seemed to be lots more lovely restaurants too.

We used Empoli as a base as the train station offered many possibilities as a central hub. We did however really enjoy a lovely walk in the scenic hills. The center was clean and had a really nice vibe to it and the locals were very friendly. We were also told by a historian that the city had a good museum of art although we didn't have time to investigate further unfortunately due to time.
