Hotel - very nice layout. The best of our trip. Room was very spacious, especially for Japan. Staff were very professional and helpful - booking reservations for us (recommended with the better restaurants in the area). Location - walking distance to most sites. Very short walk to the market. A bit of a walk from the train station but certainly doable for most people. Bed was large and comfortable, and room was quiet. Bonus - laundry facilities, and a first for me, you could monitor the 4 washing machines on the floor below with your TV! Love Japan!

The decoration of the hotel is beautiful and the rooms are super comfortable. The Japanese onsen is a plus and the staff is super friendly. Love everything.

The room was amazing! It was very spacious. The bathroom had a walk in shower and a bathtub and the bed was on a tatami. The staff was very kind and they offer many things (like the soup for dinner and coffee and cappuccino in the morning, and bath salts for bathing).

The rooms are simple and clean. The hotel is very well located close to many of the important sites and areas of Kanazawa. The staff very helpful and friendly. There is free coffee and tea for guests in the lobby. The washing machine in the room was a BIG plus (if I had known before coming I would have packed much lighter). The hotel is Incredibly cost effective.

    Kanazawa was awesome. It’s a mix of traditional and modern with everything you need at your fingertips. It’s a great home base, especially if you are driving as it’s within range of lots of great places.

    The onsen was totally Japanese in style and attention to...

    The onsen was totally Japanese in style and attention to detail, very relaxing and with a staff dedicated to providing the best service. They were attentive and helpful. The forest near the onsen was beautiful for hiking and contemplating nature. Loved it. I will definitely return and to the same onsen.

    The hotel was fantastic, evening and more than my team expected! We loved the traditional clothing and meals, especially dinner. The breakfast for most Americans is a little rough. The hot springs were EPIC and the swimming was just right. Thank you

    The seaside accomodation was just as advertised.

    The seaside accomodation was just as advertised. The host was helpful and a delight. She made sure we had a lovely 2 nights there. Rooms were well presented and large with amenities that were first rate. The glass manufacture workshop and the glass museum were well woth the trip. The glass gallery is world class and the architecture special and suited to its location. The aquarium was disappointing. Show was good but the maintenance of the facility needs work.

    Kanazawa is a great city, very relaxing and walkable.

    Kanazawa is a great city, very relaxing and walkable. People are very friendly and the restaurants are great. It was a great place to visit for a few days after Tokyo. We do try the famous Noto Beef at a great low key restaurant. It was a great experience and the meat was incredible. Great hosts! We ate at: Wagyu yakinuku Suzuya

    Kanazawa is a very interesting place to visit.

    Kanazawa is a very interesting place to visit. It has a similar charm as Kyoto, but with fewer crowds. We found it easy to get around the city by bus or on foot. We had 2 days here but could have stayed for 4 days or more.
