- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 361 reviewsGreat value for money. Hotel did not mention officially in the description, but they did offer a lot to us (1) a fixed set of limited free breakfast with a short service time; (2) free bath in a large room on the third floor by a reservation; (3) free rental of sandle (beach shoe) to go to the beach; (4) room with a sea view; (5) optionally room cleaning services There are great restaurants and FamilyMart near the hotel, and we only need to go across the road to get to the beach to play sands. It is easy to get to the subway station and Enoshima (the island) from the hotel.Guest review byZHIYUChina
- From US$77.44 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.2Very good - What previous guests thought, 1,306 reviewsI loved a lot about this place. I had never slept on a traditional Japanese futon before so I was a bit apprehensive but found it to be very comfortable. The private onsen was amazing too and a great way to relax after running around Enoshima all day. I really loved the breakfast too, it was amazing! The area around the hotel is very peaceful and quiet; the only sounds I really heard at night were the sounds of the train going by. Overall a really lovely place to stay and one I would book again.Guest review byFinnUnited States
- From US$61.60 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.1Very good - What previous guests thought, 1,064 reviewsThe Yen Hotel is my regular place to stay when I'm in Fujisawa. It's about a 10-minute walk from JR Fujisawa Station, but it's located in a residential area along the Sakai River, and it's in a safe environment. If you walk along the promenade along the Sakai River, you'll be able to reach the famous Enoshima Island. In spring, the cherry blossom trees along the Sakai River are also beautiful. It's a small hotel, but the service is above average.Guest review byGuzhengMalaysia

Shonandai Station is on the Odakyu Enoshima Line, Yokohama Municipal Subway Blue Line, and Sotetsu Izumino Line. The hotel is just a 2-minute walk from the station exit. The rooms are very simple but kept clean. The hotel staff are very polite. There are many restaurants around the hotel.Guest review byGuzhengMalaysia

The owner is very friendly, helpful and fun. I totally recommend also for the position: 10mins walking from the station, 10mins from the Buddha and 3mins from a beautiful beach. Room was clean and comfortable.💓Guest review byMartelliItaly

Kamakura has lots to offer if you like hiking and water sports. I did a hike to the great Buddha and also went for a run through the city and on the mountain. The wind was perfect for wind surfing and having a nice time on the beach.Guest review byMagaliMexico - 8.0

We were there to watch Lisa Ono's Concert at the beautiful Kamakura Performing Arts Center and visited the Big Buddha as well by train, riding past the beach where families and young people were enjoying the weekend...Guest review byIsabelitaPhilippines - 10.0
Yokosuka is an awesome place to visit.
Yokosuka is an awesome place to visit. There’s something for everyone whether you’re a nature lover or a city lover you’ll find something to do. During my visit. I went to kanonzaki park by bus and it was the highlight of my trip. It’s my second time visiting Yokosuka and can’t wait to go there again.Guest review byZJapan - 10.0
We loved our stay in Zushi and hope to return.
We loved our stay in Zushi and hope to return. The beach was beautiful and the location was excellent. Views of Mt. Fuji from the beach were wonderful. It was countryside compared to where we live, but still convenient with stores and restaurants walking distance away. It was a little too loud in the evenings for a family with children. But we definitely hope to visit again.Guest review byJMVan77United States - 10.0

It might not be for everyone, have to take one stop to Ofuna to transfer to other JR lines but very convenient visiting Kamakura and Enoshima. Plenty of stores around Fujusawa station for shopping. Airport bus to Narita and Haneda airports, although schedules not as frequent as pre-COVID check in advance.Guest review byLove to travelCanada - 10.0

Yokosuka is a great place to visit. There’s a fun activity for everyone. The people are nice , friendly and simple full of life. It’s an international city with a melting pot of different nationalities. My favourite place was kanonzaki park which is easily accessible by car/ bus.Guest review byZJapan - 10.0

It’s a small city, yet popular with tourists thanks to its blend of natural beauty and cultural heritage. While some spots can get quite crowded, those who enjoy hiking can escape the crowds by booking a local guide and exploring the mountain trails. These paths lead to hidden shrines and temples, offering not only a peaceful atmosphere but also stunning views.Guest review byYangyangIndonesia - 10.0

Fujisawa is wonderful and relaxed, and we come here at least 3 times per year to get away from the city. It's so nice to be able to come and NOT rush, which is why we now always stay overnight. Otherwise it's too stressful to do and see things and then get back on a train to go home on the same day. There ARE vegetarian and vegan-friendly places, but you have to find them. Use Happy Cow or another search engine to research before you come. Otherwise you'll be eating dinner at a convenience store (which isn't awful). Also, there aren't many places to eat breakfast unless you're ok with just a bakery.Guest review byGina-MarieJapan
