In a peaceful residential area, the resort is tucked away from the main road and your accommodation is located in the middle of a little garden paradise. The rooms were very spacious with a little balcony to the rear with a table and chairs. Staff were super friendly and very helpful. Always there to assist and answer any questions I had. Am very grateful to staff who helped me to arrange several days trips, organising taxis and/or explaining the bus routes and connections. Sometimes using a mini translator to ensure that I understood everything correctly. I stayed 5 nights and due to that received Club Coco membership, which included breakfast and lunch. The resort also hosts free special events on a daily basis during the day and also some evenings. I managed to a enjoy a cocktail evening, Dim sum dinner and a cooking class. Breakfast was fantastic, such a large variety of both western and Japanese food to choose from, freshly cooked and topped up on a regular basis. At no time was anything empty. There is a free shuttle to Renaissance hotel in Onna which runs frequently throughout the day. From the resort you are under 15 mins walk away from San-A shopping centre and a 7-11 konbini. I rented the electric bike that the resort offers to guest for free and managed to explore the Okinawa caves (approx 10mins ride). Yes, you can get around by public bus but you need to plan it and plan it well. I often co-ordinated and combined hotel shuttle transfers with public buses and airport/resort liner coaches , which also shortened the journey time on trips to for example Churaumi aquarium and Shurijo castle. However, I would definitely hire a car next time. I wanted to see more of the island and felt limited relying on the buses/coaches etc. Staff at the resort really went out of their way to help and ensure that I had a wonderful time.Guest review bySharonGermany

First of all, the greenery around the hotel and the Spanish architecture makes you feel so much in Europe. Stunning views from the room, very comfortable and spacious. It almost doesn’t even feel like Japan (in a good way). Different types of restaurants, especially the western one upstairs with an ocean view. The ocean is so clear and lots of tanning beds. The hotel has lots of amenities like outdoor and indoor pools, massage, you can rent e-bikes, play golf and tennis. There’s a limousine bus running from airport to the hotel but check time in advance cause it doesn’t go often. Also, sometimes they have live music in the evening and the area is so beautiful in the evening. I love this city.
I love this city. Unlike most cities I have been in, there is almost no trash to be found on the streets, anywhere! At no time did I ever feel unsafe, no matter where in the city I walked. The staff is very personable, professional, and kind-hearted. I was very happy with their presence. My original room was rather dark, so I requested a room with more natural light. The new room was beautiful and bright and I was completely satisfied with it. I was so looking forward to using the onsen, but my schedule did not permit me back until after 2200 each night. I would have appreciated the onsen staying open till 2300 or 2400. I was grateful for the free laundry. And the washing detergent is amazing- I would like to be able to purchase that! The breakfast buffet was plentiful, delicious with a good variety of healthy foods. My stay at EM was very pleasant and I hope to stay there in the future. The places I needed and wanted to go to were all within -20 minutes from each other. The area is nice and walkable, some family marts and Lawsons on the way if you need to stop for a quick snack or need to pick something last minute. A great location in between the bustle of Naha/Chatan and some of the major attractions up north. The area is a good mix of traditional Okinawan culture and modern tourist expectations. There are a lot of great places to eat—Minami sushi, Mainichi Shokudo, Obbligato, Sabroso—satisfying both conservative and adventurous eaters. The Southern part of Okinawa is neither pretty nor particularly pleasant.A chaotic collection of rarely attractive buildings, it is plagued by traffic jams, lack of public transportation, etc. Still, there are a few worthwhile archeological remains, some good restaurants, the old (mostly pedestrian) part of Naha is very pleasant.
