I was offered Soursop which from the previous reviews there were issues about being forced to drink it. I would not say I was forced but the drink is given to give your body a kick start to wellness treatment to help promote healthy values to your body. the staff were not forceful to me at all. They were so helpful and nice every step of the way. From the massages and great Sri Lanka food to the nutrition drinks and sea turtle watch areas, Hospitality transportation everything was great. Plus on my last day before going home I stepped on sea urchins and everyone there gave me immediate attention to the hospital and making sure I made it to my flight on time. It's perfectly located for Yala National Park safaris, offering easy access to incredible wildlife encounters. Beyond the safaris, the town itself has a calm, local vibe with beautiful lakes and ancient temples to discover. A great place to stay and would definitely recommend. Large comfortable room close to the pool, with restaurant and plenty of cold beer. We were very well looked after and nothing was too much trouble. The owner of Serenity lake advices us to visit Yala safari, Sithul pawwa magul viharaya and sithul pawwa a super history with beautiful scenery, which we did and we're very grateful for his advice. We returned to the serenity lake to have lunch before heading off. Requested for a village kind of lunch with the local veggies and it was served on a lotus leaf... The most delicious meal it was. It definitely is an experience worth trying. The tree house has all the comforts you need but yet kept on the simple side. Don't expect much and you will get a lot. Nice food Bbq and big fire lit for you in the evening to give you a chance to relax and talk about your day activities. It was great to be left alone and the silence of the night.
