The loveliest hotel room we have ever stayed in- mostly because of the view… wow! But we couldn’t fault anything in the room either is was so lovely. The breakfast was super nice too was served on the table and chairs outside our room overlooking the view.

Amazing hotel and and even amazing staff! Ameer the property manager is so professional and a pleasure to talk to. He made sure our stay was comfortable throughout and we just felt very welcomed. The food is better than any restaurant in Ella and is made by Primal! It was so delicious that we just ordered in one night and didn't go out. The rooms are modern and beautiful and the view is gorgeous especially from the dining area. I requested that they take special care wrt. to cleaning and insects and they exceeded my expectations. The property is easily accessible via car ( very nice paved road) so if you have a car and driver you don't need to get tuktuks to pick and drop you like in another properties. The service is like a 5 start hotel from the moment you arrive till you leave. 5 min drive to town and overall highly recommended if you are visiting Ella. Just book it and you will be taken care of!!

The view of the hills from the bar and restaurant is breathtaking. The decoration of the room is very arty and even unique. Would recommend this place as a retreat for resting too. It has a nice little pool. Staff is helpful and organizes tuktuks for you at the best price.

This place was the most amazing accomodition to see the trains running over the Nine Arches Bridge. I came to Sri Lanka because I wanted to see this amazing view from this hotel. I would recommend you to make a reservation sooner because this hotel is pretty popular.  When I arrived it was pouring and cold, but blankets were provided and the shower was hot enough. The room was very clean, so I think it's probably a new building. I was traveling alone, so when I asked about transportation and any other questions, the host, Upali replied to my emails right away and helped me. Upali arranged for me a very helpful taxi driver, Niranjith. And thank you for making a lot of wonderful breakfast every day. even though It was so delicious, I’m sorry to I couldn’t eat it all. This is a lovely place and I'm really glad I stayed here, but I was most glad to have met Upali! Upali was very kind and reliable person. Thank you so much for everything. It was a lot of fun thanks to you.

    From the moment of check in to check out, I had a wonderful stay at orient hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and professional and the food was delicious. Special mention must be made to the GM Mr. Chandima who was always on the scene and attentive to our needs. We were also provided with a Trek to Ella Rock accompanied by hotel staff and a packed hotel lunch which was an incredible experience I would highly recommend. Overall was a great visit and will definitely be staying here again next time I visit.

    Almost everything.

    Almost everything. Location was close to Horton Plains and the owners arranged a tuk tuk ride for a nominal fee. Lovely surrounding. Food was tasty and ample given. Really worth it. Owners were friendly and made the guests feel at home.

    People are really friendly and welcome tourists. City is very small, but attractive. The 9 arches bridge is a place everyone would like to visit. Food available in the restaurants are really testy in a reasonable price. The train ride to ella was a memorable one.

    Haputale is a breathtaking hill town surrounded by lush tea estates and misty mountains. We stayed at Benito Bungalow by The Serendipity Collection, where the in-house chef prepared fresh and delicious meals every day. The cool climate, scenic views, and peaceful setting made it the perfect place to unwind. It’s quieter and less touristy than other hill stations, which adds to its charm. A true hidden gem in Sri Lanka!

    Even though My stay in Badulla was too short to visit all the beautiful places, the trip to Dunhida waterfall was a great experience, especially for kids. The path to Dunhida might be difficult for someone. I believe it was a very nice experience to walk through the jungle. Once you see the waterfall, you will forget all the tiredness.

    Most of the activities are outside of main Haputale the hiking is wonderful as was our visit to Lipton's seat and the tour of the tea factory. Main Haputale not really much going on but the hotel was perfect after a long day of hiking.
