The staff were extremely kind, accomodating and welcoming. The included breakfast was excellent, as were our other two meals from the restaurant. Our room was also comfortable, spacious and had fast wifi.

The accomodation is really close to Wilpattu national park. The owner of the place and the whole staff are superb. They can cook exceptional dinner for you with local flavours. They also organize full day safaris with a really enthusiastic staff for a good price (the owner of the place is a pro photographer so they are a really good option for safari if you would like to do some wildlife photography). The safari car is a jeep which is a better alternative than a pickup according to me. Of course it is not a luxury accomodation but has really good value/money ratio.

The location is very close to the National Park. It is only about 8 minutes by Tuk-Tuk which they kindly organised for both our safaris. Leopard Inn arranged our tour of Wilpattu National Park at a reasonable price and our onward transport. Prathap could not have been more attentive even giving us cushions for our comfort on our safari. Everything was clean, comfortable and worked as it should. The accommodations that we chose were self contained cabins beside a river. Opposite there is some building work at the moment but it did not disturb our peace. We had a take away breakfast which was adequate. The pools are tiny plunge pools and very refreshing after a day's safari

had a great time here. The hosts were kind and demonstrated true Sri Lankan hospitality. It’s peaceful and has lots of interesting things to see around it. loads of birds and some very loud croaking frogs. A very pleasant way to spend the afternoon.

We had a wonderful stay at Raalmadu Wilpattu. The safari experience was absolutely amazing, and the natural surroundings made it truly special. The hotel manager, Kuma, took excellent care of us and always made sure we felt welcome and looked after. The room was simple and rustic, but that’s exactly what you would expect in the middle of the jungle — it added to the charm and authentic feeling of the place. The only small downside was that the private pool next to our room wasn’t usable at the time. However, they are currently building a larger pool, and we are sure it will be fantastic once it’s finished. Overall, we can highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a unique jungle experience with warm hospitality and unforgettable safaris!

Unique location and building very close to the national park, great service and excellent food from Chef Sandun. Peaceful place with a nice breeze and lakes nearby for bird watching. Great organisation and care to help with planning etc by Roshan. On safari we saw a leopard, elephant and plenty of other interesting birds etc.
