The riad was amazing, with a lush green courtyard that looked even better in person than in the promotional photos. Chefchaouen is an amazing historic city. So much to see and do. Spend the morning on a hike and come back for the market and a tagine. I would like to have had a beer but I survived, lol. Our guide Abdul was a beautiful human being. He enriched our trip so much. His deep explanation of Ramadan was an inspiration. The solidarity with all people and the egalitarian aspects were something that I had not formerly considered. It is a bonding with all of humanity.
