HungaryThe camp was at a really good location in the desert, you can go to the tents with 4x4 cars or with camels. The dinner and breakfast was delicious, we recommend to stay there for two nights. Hassan was extremly helpful, they organised us a private camel ride to the oasis with a little picnic. The spot was lovely, it was really calm and everybody were very kind. Our tent had everything we needed. At night they gave us a show near the fire, where we danced and laughed a lot. Our two days was an unforgettable experience.

The tent was clean, comfortable, and beautifully set up, blending desert charm with modern comfort. Every detail was just right.
The food was delicious fresh, flavorful, and prepared with so much care. Every meal felt like a special occasion.
We’re so grateful for the amazing service and peaceful atmosphere. It was the perfect escape, and we’ll carry the memories with us for a long time.

Puerto RicoWe enjoyed this camp very much. The location is perfect, closer to big dunes and you can wander on them right when you arrive. The tents are spacious and comfortable. There is no AC, but there is a fan. Shower area very clean and lots of nice sitting areas around the camp. The view of the stars was beautiful, all staff very friendly and hospitable. We did the sunrise camel ride and quad biking around sunset. I highly highly recommend going on the quad, it was my favourite. We stayed at the camp 2 nights in July and so not many guests. I think cooler months would be more enjoyable than the heat of July- if you are deciding what time of year to come- but we still enjoyed it very much. Mohamed and his team and family are really great. Keep in mind all activities are extra charges ranging from 15-30 euro per person. Plus the 30 ish euro each to go to and from camp (per person). You will get messaged all prices and activities and options once you book. Really great thing about this camp is that the fee you pay to get To the camp AND back is the same charge that other camps ask for each way. This camp is VERY highly recommended by me and my husband. It was peaceful, quiet, and at night there was some lovely drumming, dancing and a fire. Lastly, the food was incredible. Absolutely delicious. (We are not vegetarian and the meats were superb) Sometimes you worry if you are getting what is in the picture and in this case you don't need to worry at all. Loved it! Special thanks to Mohamed for making our trip perfect.

CanadaMohamed and his team are beyond excellent. Communication is super easy; he's one of the nicest people I've met during our travels. As mohamed suggested we upgraded standard tent to family suite with a very fair price,the camp itself is even better than described,the room was big with privte bathroom- the facilities are clean, comfortable and beautiful. Camel ride into the camp was phenomenal (definitely recommend) and fairly priced. Dinner was good and night entertainment was extremely fun. Make sure, if weather permits, to watch the stars at night! Unforgettable experience. We were celebrating our honeymoon and Moha was so kind to prepare a cake for us . Absolutely remarkable. We arranged our transportation from Marrakech to Merzouga through Mohamed. the driver- hassan ,his kindness, humor, and knowledge of the road made a total 18-hour drive one of the best parts of the experience! We can't wait to go back.

We had a nice stay overall. The hotel was clean and comfortable, with all the basic amenities we needed. It’s conveniently located near minimarkets, which was great for quick purchases. A particularly nice touch was the presence of a sandbox/play area for kids—it made it easier to relax while the little ones had fun.
The property has good features like a dual shower and dryer, although the bathroom space was a bit tight. There were also a few ants near the entrance, which could be improved.
Still, the positives outweighed the small issues, and we appreciated the thoughtful family-friendly setup. Would recommend for families looking for a practical and comfortable stay.

Everything about this hotel says 'quality'. From first checking in with the lovely guy on reception, everything was wonderful.
Our room was immaculately prepared, the shower, excellent.
The bar/restaurant was run by lovely attentive people, dinner was fantastic with a beautiful sunset view, and breakfast was amazing.
We didn't use the pool or spa facilities, but they also looked immaculately clean.
The location is very close to the Cedar forest, where you can take pony rides and see the monkeys.
For us, this is a must stay place when visiting Morocco.

Very nice, typical hotel, personalized welcome. Outdoor parking on site. Relaxing atmosphere. Very pleasant pool with an exceptional view of the dunes. Second pool heated to 32 degrees and clean... wow it's wonderful to swim there in the evening with a starry sky. The food is delicious. Beer and wine at a reasonable price. Extraordinary, helpful and supportive staff. A detour is essential to discover this wonderful place, located at the gateway to the desert. One of the best places to explore the dunes. Asphalt road to the Riad.

What a fabulous experience. The dinner was absolutely delicious. The whole service was slick. We had a super nice waiter. Love the aubergine dish. Lovely tent, crisp linen and super warm inside.We loved our camel ride and the closeness to some of the most dramatic scenes. Enjoyed the music and dancing by the fire and star gazing! Said was funny and drove us to the camels in his 4x4 which was great fun. Anyone thinking about this experience just do it! Highly recommend.

This place was the highlight of our trip. The staff was lovely, the breakfast was amazing... we even got to enjoy the pool for a quick dip even though it was quite cold still! The apartments are really delightful and comfortable. We went on a wonderful quad trip for a good price. Wish we could have stayed for longer.

Amazing experience overall. We rode a camel into the desert for about 1-1.5 hour, the staff was super kind and welcomed us upon arrival. The dinner and breakfast which were included were also delicious.
The rooms are very modern, clean and has a full bathroom with hot water.
We would love to visit back someday.

I always wanted to stay in the Sahara Desert, and this camp made it come true. Comfortable beds, great food, and lovely staff. They even surprised us with traditional music around the fire. Such a warm experience.

Interesting medina, market and main square. Short (free) visit to mausoleum is main event, otherwise not a lot to do. Probably 1 day/night is sufficient. Use as a base for half day visit to Volubolis. Limited decent restaurants , most are in Riads. A restaurant with a terrace with nice views exists on inside of gateway near main gate

Midelt was an interesting town/city.
Midelt was an interesting town/city. There is lots to explore there. We enjoyed wandering around the souk. Sitting at the foot of the mountains it is quite beautiful in the changing light.
Midelt feels that it is well looked after and maintained compared to other cities and towns we have visited in Morocco.

Peculiar European style roof houses for sliding the melted ice, calm, quiet and very comfortable hotels available, especially I highly recommend MICHLIFEN RESORT. Hotel staff was very obedient, punctual. Hotel surrounding, forest tour by walk.. Deep inside, a visit to a small lake for a short picnic, smaller town comparatively and a short centre ville visit are special moments in 4 days visit. A retirement town. I breathed most clean air in the whole of my life. Very clean town.. I always used to rate some rural area of Sub Saharan Africa as the best for good air quality but now my new option is IFRANE of this beautiful country "MOROCCO".

It was the perfect place for us to meet and get some rest the night before heading to Merzouga! Hassan is a lovely person and was super helpful in getting to and from his home. His home is extremely clean and spacious. Hassan was a great host! I would highly recommend his home.

Not much happening in this town.
Not much happening in this town. Hard to find good restaurants. Most places seem to serve fast food. Probably the biggest draw is the proximity to Ifrane National Park and the famous Barbary macaques. They are easily spotted on the road N13 leading into town mainly because people like to feed them there so there are plenty to see.

We didn’t expect such comfort in the middle of the desert with Les Roches Desert camp! The tents were luxurious, with soft beds and private bathrooms. The dinner was delicious, and the staff were amazing. The fire, music, and stargazing made it feel like a dream.

Very authentic city but lacking nice restaurants that felt clean. In the newer area there was a great place called Le Stream.
Favorite places were the music museum and mausoleum.
Petit Taxis were reasonably priced and made getting around the city inexpensive and easy.

This place has the feel of a rough and ready desert town.
This place has the feel of a rough and ready desert town. It has a variety of people who live here, and was dry as a bone when we stayed. We were hoping to hike the surrounding countryside but couldn’t get it together so walked around the various neighbourhoods. This turned out to be a great experience. We found a very interesting Berber village, a completely unexpected Catholic monastery, and a very bizarre but beautiful guesthouse.
We were surprised by this town and think that you might be too.

Ifrane is a small town so choices for food outside of the few hotels are limited. We like to take drives in the countryside each day and then return to town. There are a few very nice parks to walk through. Especially Ain Vittel on the outskirts of town.
