AMAZING. We loved this hotel. I will always recommend it. The food is great. The views are beautiful - rooms overlooking the water and some yachts. They had no problems with my small dog and I even took her to breakfast with me - which also was very tasty and had a big choice. The staff was very kind and relaxed. This is one of the best and nicest places I have stayed.

We had an absolutely amazing experience at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, the entire staff, including the hotel manager, Natasa, made us feel welcome, comfortable, and truly cared for. Special thanks to Teodora who went above and beyond – providing us with helpful information, checking and booking activities for us, and always doing so with a smile. The location is perfect, the quality and design of the hotel are outstanding, and the breakfast was delicious and varied. We were even upgraded to a stunning suite, which made our stay even more memorable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for excellent service, beautiful surroundings, and a truly personal touch. the hotel was very clean, the owner and staff provided exceptional services and were very friendly, we felt like in a big family they were family/child oriented as well and very nice in anticipating our needs, very discrete as well, I really would return here when travelling to Montenegro. Breakfast was continental and diverse everyday, really tasty (it lakes coffee(they provide instant) but you can order expresso from the bar). The pool looks amazing and they have a little playground near, my boy enjoyed the tramboluline in our last night.

We stayed at Hotel Diplomat for a week and I had a wonderful experience. The hotel is located in a great area, close to the beach and the old town. The staff was very friendly and helpful, always ready to assist. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, with a nice balcony and a city view. The breakfast was delicious and varied. The hotel also has a seasonal outdoor pool, which was very refreshing and relaxing. I would highly recommend Hotel Diplomat to anyone looking for a quality accommodation in Budva. It is a 4-star hotel with a 5-star service!

This is categorically, definitely an indubitably the best hotel we have ever stayed at ever. 💓❤️‍🔥 We have stayed at many hotels over our travels and this by far is the best. 😊👍It's not just the best because of the hotel itself, the rooms are impeccable and also the best room we've ever stayed in with the most beautiful views of the sea and a double balcony. Not just for the amazing spas and swimming pools here. It is truly for the level of care, kindness and love shown by everybody who works here. I don't truly know where to begin with our "thank yous" for everyone. 💞Firstly Jovana, David and Jasmina on the front desk and everybody else who works there, Tijana, Elza and Svetlana (for her wonderful massage too) and to the bar/restaurant staff and maids (with the best cocktails) and Igor, Andrea, Milica, Milena and Anna and to the chef Stefan (who cooked us THE best Sea food platter we have ever eaten), the managers and everybody else I may have missed, sorry if I did. You all deserve a raise in salary and are by far the best team individually and as a group! 😁😁😁💞You have made our stay the best ever.❤️‍🔥 We were only staying for a short while but stayed longer because of you all, your care and love, compassion, kindness and help have all been amazing.     The location of this hotel is fantastic, the service is commendable, the staff is very helpful and pleasant without exception, the cleaning of the rooms is perfect, the breakfast is very comprehensive and tasty, the contents of the hotel are exceptional, the outdoor pool is so beautiful that it leaves you breathless. There is simply no mistake with this hotel, the best recommendations. Let me not forget, we got a room upgrade, a beautiful suite with a sea view, many thanks to the hotel staff. Parking is also available, which was very important to us since we came with a car.

    Budva, like the other cities in Montenegro, is a fantastic place, nice beaches, a very beautiful old town,has a lot of water activities and night life is brimming . It is indeed a destination worthy of travelling for both young and old. Just be ready with lots cash because most of the shops and restaurants there only accepts cash. There are ATMs everywhere but there are charges. Transportation wise, if you are just in Budva, everything is walking distance, going to the beach or the old town, there are just minutes away. But, if you want to visit other places, taking a bus is the most effective way, it's cheaper than taking a taxi where the driver will ask a ridiculous price. Just go to the bus station and buy the tickets there in cash, don't buy them online because once you arrive at the bus station, they will ask you to print it otherwise it's null and void, they have printing servie there but it's gonna be another pay (1 euro per print).

    Beautiful old town, essential to take a boat trip along the bay to view the majestic mountains. The cable car is also a great activity, not only do you get a view of Kotor Bay but when you get to the top there is a lot to explore. The roads are very busy so it takes a while to get around. Essential to book a taxi before you arrive at the airport as the taxis from there are very expensive. Absolutely amazing scenery. Very busy old town as cruise liners arrive daily.

    We enjoyed the size of the resort, small enough to walk around with lots of small shingle beaches where it was easy to enter the sea for safe swimming. The grocery shops were well stocked with reasonably priced fresh produce. A good variety of boat trips were available. The local transport was somewhat problematic with no proper timetables even online. We would have travelled around more if we knew what time the bus should come.

    Ulcinj beach area is for the most part quite dirty and littered. There are people prepared to scam you readily. We did like the fortress area and found a cleaner beach near there (Liman Beach) that we quite liked.

    I visited both Tivat and Kotor, but the Herceg Novi area is definitely the best place to stay around the Bay of Kotor: the most beautiful, cleanest, calmest, nicest vibe, better price level (e.g. accommodation, restaurants, etc.).

    I'm afraid my impression of Bar was that it was industrial, a bit ugly and not very well looked after.(Sorry Bar, maybe I didn't go to the right places!) Wanting to visit places that are not yet wholly given over to tourism, is a two edged sword; it means that the 'pretty views' are often obscured by something utilitarian and not pretty! I took a taxi boat to Sutomore beach, which was a lovely trip and incredibly good value. The beach and water was fabulous but I think every person in the whole of Montenegro had had the same idea and the beach was extremely crowded. My reason for visiting Bar was to do the train journey from Bar to Belgrade, which I had read was one of the most beautiful in Europe. It did not disappoint and made me forgive Bar everything!

    Beautiful clear water for swimming, but the resort was very busy and touristy, full of cheap souvenir shops and pizza bars. The beaches were overcrowded with row upon row of expensive sunbeds and parasols.

    From the sveti stefan bus stop, it’s very easy to get around, buses to Budva Old Town run every 20 minutes, cost €2.5 one way, and take about 20 minutes. Taxi from Tivat airport is around €55–60 and takes about 40 minutes. For food, we often bought frozen homemade dishes from a Ukrainian shop in Budva, which were really tasty.

    I’ve been to Sutomore more than once… and I think I’m officially in love with this place! 💙 The beach is amazing, the sea feels like warm soup, the sun seems to shine just for us, and the vibe? 100% stress-free zone! 😎 If you’re looking for a place to relax, recharge and forget all your worries – Sutomore is the one. Highly recommended – and yes, my suitcase is already half-packed for the next visit! 😄✈️🌊
