Really helpful, friendly staff, especially the owner. Great bungalow, right opposite the beach with seating to look at glorious view. Good value, excellent food, home cooked and delicious. Half way from airport to town. Owners live on site- the place has a super friendly, family feel, and has a good local reputation.

I'm really surprised why this hotel has a low review. The room is big, the hot water comes in seconds. They cleanes my room every day. The staff are so nice and friendly. The food is very good. It is not very far from the city center, I walked from there tot the center many times.

Their genuine hospitality truly made a difference. **Delicious Food**: The hotel offers delicious food. **Amazing Location**: Situated in front of a beach. The view was spectecular **Clean Accommodation**: The cleanliness of the accommodation was impeccable. Our room was spotless and well-maintained, with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job of ensuring that everything was in perfect order every day. **Excursions**: We took a quadbike tour and it was really fun. Worth the price. Overall, the hotel exceeded all our expectations.

    We spent 5 nights in beginning of July at Aurora Lodge, and loved every minute of it! Despite the weather being ever changing, it was such an amazing place to be. Karen, the owner, was very welcoming and her staff were very nice and helpful. The bungalow was well equipped, and although simple, had everything you could need. We especially enjoyed the cooking class and visiting the neighboring vanilla plantation, showed to us be the very passionate owner. Also just walking around the island, having lunch at the close by, very relaxed restaurant, Le Fafana (a must visit spot!) and exploring Iles Sainte Marie.

    Beautiful resort near the seaport (15 min) and airport (15 min). They arrange hotel airport transfer. Hotel is so nice, great restaurant, bar and the water bungalows are perfect for honeymoon. Some of them are under reconstruction. It is an oasis of calm. Staff is kind and helpful. Receptionist and her boss speak very well English (as we dont speak French). Food is delicious and looks pretty. They help you with everything you need (for example bicycle rent). We enjoyed our stay and can recommend. Note: The boat arrives on the island only once per day.

    I love the connection I had with the staff. I love the location and access to the main town. The food was great especially on the hosted "pirate party night". Which they had a live band! Fred the owner is extremely outgoing and helpful and makes you feel comfortable 100% of the way.
