I had an exceptional stay at this hotel, and I can't recommend it enough. From the moment I arrived, the service was top-notch. The staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and attentive to every detail, ensuring that my check-in was smooth and hassle-free. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities I could possibly need. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I had one of the best night’s sleep I’ve had in a long time. The hotel’s facilities were impressive as well. The on-site restaurant served delicious meals, and I thoroughly enjoyed breakfast each morning with a wide variety of fresh options. The location was perfect—conveniently close to the beach but tucked away enough to provide a peaceful retreat. I also appreciated the complimentary shuttle service, which was provided when I left the hotel. Overall, my stay exceeded all expectations. The combination of exceptional service, comfort, and amenities made for a truly memorable experience. I look forward to returning and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a perfect getaway.

The property is nested in pristine jungle a bit further away from the busy streets and closer to the beach area. There’s a bit of construction happening outside, which does not interfere with you having a great time. The hotel is being run by a highly friendly hospitable family with all the members taking part in looking after you - they are cooking, cleaning, showing you round the island, arranging tours for you, speed boats if you want to explore other places, everyone speaks perfect English. The rooms are clean, spacious and well decorated. There is a no plastic policy in the hotel, which also makes it environmentally friendly. Tea, coffee and breakfast are available in a comfortable lobby area. You can also rent bikes (including bikes with child seats). The staff are very friendly with the kids as well, i could even sometimes leave my son with them while working, which was extremely convenient. The wifi connection allowed me to hold multiple zoom sessions. All in all, i highly recommend this place to everyone who wants to explore this beautiful welcoming island!

It was wonderfull experieance at Sands Grand hotel and the Dhigurah Island was vary nice and beautifull. Hotel Manager explained about the Island and guest House and instructed nicely. Guest house staff were vary helpfull and room cleaned organized properly.

The place was exactly what I expected - cozy and clean. I was very surprised, that there is a hair dryer with a diffuser attachment in the room. As a curly girl I was endlessly happy about that! Also the room is equipped with an iron and a spacious refrigerator, which I appreciated too. The stuff is very nice and friendly. The owner Musa is always there for you and ready to help. The breakfast was great. Fried potatoes and pancakes are my favorite.

We had a fantastic vacation. Our room was large, clean, quiet and comfortable. It took only five minutes to the beautiful beach. The food was also fantastic and varied with very large portions. And the most important: The staff is so great. They were so friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Ravi, Nilan and Noor. You really are such great guys. If we ever come back to Rasdhoo we will stay in the same perfect accommodation.

I stayed here for a week with my mother. My mother was abroad for the first time, and she was very happy! The owner of the hotel Ishan did everything possible to make our stay comfortable. The staff tried to change the food for us, first from fruits there were watermelons, and then papaya, from the main course they served fish with rice or pasta with chicken and there were different vegetable salads and even potatoes a couple of times. The fish was cooked very tasty. You can ask Ishan to rent bicycles. We were given the opportunity to ride for one day for free, it was very nice. We will gladly stay with you again if we are in Toddoo.

Today is our last day of our honeymoon, and to say we’re a bit gutted is an understatement. Coming in May, we were slightly nervous about the weather — but we’ve honestly had the best holiday of our lives. While May is technically the start of the wet season in the Maldives, the weather was far better than expected: around 60–70% sunny, with occasional showers and refreshing wind. Rather than detracting from the experience, the changing skies added a richness to the scenery — bringing a welcome break from the intense tropical heat. It also gave us a chance to experience the Maldives as the locals do, in all its natural beauty. The shifts in weather were truly exceptional. We stayed in a Senior Overwater Villa, and it was nothing short of spectacular. Waking up each morning to the gentle sound of the ocean, diving straight into the turquoise waters, and watching the sunset from our deck was pure magic. But what sets Moofushi apart isn’t just the scenery — it’s the heart and soul of the place: the people. From the moment we stepped off the seaplane, we were treated with genuine warmth and personal attention. The staff knew our names, our preferences, even where we liked to sit at dinner — and they remembered it all without us having to ask twice. It never felt robotic or rehearsed — just naturally thoughtful and full of care. Our room was refreshed multiple times a day, and every small touch was meaningful — from the honeymoon decorations to the smiles we were greeted with every day. The service was flawless. Whether it was chatting with the wonderful wait staff, being surprised with thoughtful gestures from housekeeping, or watching my husband play cricket with some of the staff (we’re from New Zealand, so that meant a lot!) — every moment felt special.

Our Villa: We chose an overwater villa, and it exceeded all expectations. With a private pool and direct sea access, it provided the perfect blend of luxury and tranquillity.     Overall, all was great, best vacation we've had, wonderful honeymoon! Location was amazing, we got a sunset water villa with a jacuzzi, rays would swim around our stairs, it was 5 meters snorkeling to the reef. Food was awesome, varied, buffet style, we tried both all inclusive and full board. We found the latter more cost effective as we didn't drink that many coctails and water was included for all meals, plus tea/coffee/juice for breakfast. I highly recommend the candlelight dinner at the beach with grilled lobster. We had an amazing server, Shafan, who took excellent care of us for 3 hours. Best and most romantic dinner I've had, and I've had many! We spent nine days and always had plenty to do. We snorkeled every day. Vilamendhoo has a wonderful live reef. We saw a turtle, eagle and sting rays, sharks (I'm in general very wary of these creatures and had some apprehension coming in but these were cute and harmless), a muray eele, and all sorts of wonderful colorful fish. Bring a gopro camera! We took a full day trip looking for whale sharks, turtles, and manta rays. We missed the whale shark by about 15 minutes but swimming with manta rays was memorable. We did 5 our six snorkels with them, led by a great guide Haisham. Afterwards he was kind enough to send us cool pictures and a video from the day. The all inclusive package also includes a 30 minute photo shoot. We got some great pictures out of it, like a postcard, no filter. Other highlights included night snorkeling (we'll have to come back for fluo), windsurfing, seeing cool birds and orange fruit bats, as well as a free dinner at the Asian wok restaurant (part of the 5 day all inclusive package, great atmosphere and view, baby sharks have their meeting place under the restaurant). The villa was great, clean, and cleaned twice daily. There were no bugs in it and overall very few on the island.

    We spent our honeymoon at Kuramathi Maldives and stayed in a Thundi Villa with Pool – it was absolutely perfect. The villa was spacious, beautifully designed, and offered incredible views. The person who took care of our room was always smiling and decorated it beautifully every day, which made us feel really special. The whole staff was extremely kind, friendly, and welcoming. Everyone made sure we had the best time and felt comfortable at all times. The island itself is breathtaking – truly a tropical paradise. The reef is stunning, and we had the chance to swim alongside colorful fish every day, which was an unforgettable experience. The speedboat transfer from the airport took about an hour and was smooth and enjoyable, with amazing views along the way. We couldn’t have asked for a better honeymoon destination. Highly recommended for couples looking for a romantic and luxurious escape!

The quality of food offered at breakfast, lunch and dinner was fantastic! The room are large and were very comfortable, clean and tastefully decorated. The bathroom is also very big. The entire property is very well maintained and easy to walk around. We saw several sharks and stingrays. The area is great for snorkelying. Veligandu is a fantastic choice for a resort and we would definitely return!

    Everything!!! The hotel was perfect, the personnel very kind. As french people we really appreciate the champagne, wine and cheese. The food was really good special mention for the tuna. We are Diver and we had a great experience with the diving center. I recommend 100% this hotel ! Thank you so much for the wonderful holidays in this little paradise.

    An amazing snorkelling beach -no boats or travel required -just thousands of colourful fish and turtles, perfect white sand and palm trees. The concession stand sold delicious, fresh-picked fruit-watermelon, papaya, bananas. We loved the Coccoa beach restaurant and the Black Anchor and the Mango House had fabulous lattes and desserts.

    The most beautiful sea I have ever seen in my entire life. And mind you, I have visited many seas in many countries! For food, I recommend the restaurant at the Dhiguveli hotel and the Teapot restaurant. Getting around the island is very easy; you can reach any place quickly on foot. Don't miss going to the sandbank at one of the ends of the island.

    I didn't like that the island lost most of it's green and I didn't see the wild nature I prefer. There was a lot of construction going on the moment I was there, I felt discomfort because of that. And maybe in 1-2 years it's going to be over I think. But on the other hand there's just amazing diving on the house reef and nearby reefs. There's a lot of nice restaurants and there was no day I felt bored.

    We enjoyed 7 days on the island. The rooms are very clean. The food is AMAZING! Everyone from staff are kind. The resort is sustainable, they try very hard to recycle and repurpose almost everything which is really nice. All inclusive is the smarter choice, trust me😄 The snorkeling is really fun! The whole island stands on coral reef and there is a lot to see! Maybe bring your own equipment, although you can rent. I don’t recommend the visit to the local island, nothing to see there We absolutely recommend

    It was not my first time in Maldives and my experience there was disappointing compared to my previous trips in other resorts. The quality of service is poor and it’s a shame because the resort is lovely and the staff are nice but lack professionalism.

    Great for diving but not so great for snorkeling. The reef is very far out and at times the current was very strong. Prices for trips to see the whale sharks were quite expensive at 75 USD. And there were tons of other boats at the same spots - very zoo-like. Bikini beach, the only beach you can swim at in only your bathing suit is fairly shallow and windy. The better beach beside it requires you to be clothed. However, the local people are super nice and helpful.

    You need maximum 3 days to complete all trips, any more than that would have to be someone who loves water sports as these are the main activities in this country, anyways. Bring a mosquito or any insect repellent, you will need these after a stroll on the shores or anywhere there are plants. Also have an anti-nausea pill if you are the seasick type. Taxis have a fixed price for each location, check that out. Alcohol in the resorts is expensive but then again that's all you got. Best to pay all meals or include dinner in your package as there are almost no restaurants outside, depending on the island, and if you find one it's either a chips or coffee spots.

    A Wonderful Beach Holiday. Necessary structure: shops and cafes are available. The ability to pay with a bank card, as well as in cash (USD, MVR). Good exchange rate in all places. I was pleased with both Mathiveri and Mathiveri Finholu: the beaches are clean, the sand does not burn your feet, and there is a comfortable "coolness" in the shade of the trees.

    This resort is a nice isolated intimate island, staff is very kind and welcoming, rooms are nice, clean. tidy and spacious, well equipped and services twice a day. Food is mediocre. Activities and attractions are limited - scuba diving is great, the rest of the excursions and watersports are below average and highly priced for the what you get. Our overall conclusion is "insufficient value for money" I have rated it as 4/5 because we've enjoyed our time, but almost any spot at the Maldives is enjoyable with no much effort required from the resort
