UkraineI was here on Jan'2024 and everything was perfect. Very cozy small hotel with beautiful rooms and magnificent views of the ocean. The staff were very friendly and they made us feel relaxed and calm. The hotel is located on a small calm beach with a rich reef. The island is small, cozy, and amazing people live on it. My advice: 1) visit the fish market late at night to see stingrays and even sharks that come here for food 2) try a coconut drink at a local cafe 3) try a traditional Maldivian dinner or lunch at DFC Restaurant

True to its name, Bageechaa (meaning "Garden") is a beautiful oasis. The central garden creates a calm, relaxing atmosphere, perfect for dining and unwinding. The modern, stylish design gives it an upmarket resort feel at an affordable price.

Shihab arranged a speedboat transfer for us and personally picked us up from the harbour. Dharavandhoo also has its own airport, with 25-minute flights from Malé, making travel effortless. We took the speedboat in and flew back—both organised flawlessly by Shihab.

The island is near Hanifaru Bay, where majestic manta rays gather seasonally, and close to a whale shark hotspot. Shihab organized amazing excursions—snorkelling, diving and sandbank trips—with trusted local providers.

The rooms are stunning. They are not only aesthetically pleasing but also very well designed and very comfortable. Evening turn down service was an added bonus! The bathrooms are also equally stunning, clean and functional.
Ismail and his team, especially Akoo, made my family and I feel very welcome. They both offered us great advice.
The restaurant is another highlight and comes highly recommended. The food, including the desserts, were absolutely delicious. As a vegetarian, I greatly appreciated how the restaurant went above and beyond to cater to my dietary needs.
As a family, we loved every moment spent at Isla Retreat. Highly recommended, cannot wait to return.

The activity list is quite extensive with various diving, snorkeling, fishing, sailing, island hopping options. We took a night snorkeling activity in the coral nursery and the experience was above my expectations (I would recommend it to anyone - children included). The use of torches with different wavelengths of light really brings a different perspective to coral. The distance from the accommodation to the beach is around 1 minute. What really made our stay outstanding was the host, Aani. She was there to show us around the island, answer our many, many questions, give explanations, take us shark and sting ray watching at the harbour, take us sting ray feeding, point out various plants and animals, present to us how betel leaf is supposed to be eaten, discuss various customs, she even helped us plan the next leg of our trip! She made us feel like family.

We were given a free delicious lunch when we arrived and assisted us all throughout. They are all friendly and well informed about everything in the island.
The room is really great with a wooden-dim ambiance and a cute little coffee garden behind. The room comes with an espresso machine as well.
The food were all 5-stars which really surprised us. It exceeded our expectations as every meal were so delicious and served like in a 5 stars fine dining restaurant.
Everything in this hotel were amazing aside from this wonderful local island. I strongly recommend this to everyone, solo, group, couple who would like to enjoy the serenity and beauty of Fulhadhoo Islands in Maldives.

Special thanks also to the housekeeping staff, especially the Sri Lankan gentleman (unfortunately, we didn’t catch his name), who was outstanding in maintaining our villa with great professionalism and care. A pleasant surprise was the mosque at the resort, which added a peaceful and spiritual touch to our stay. Attending Jumu’ah (Friday) prayers, there was an extraordinary experience. I absolutely would return! After the fact I was told this was a Russian resort but we interacted with a variety of guests during our visit. Our neighbors were guests 20 years ago and returned with two children. They were having an absolute ball. I loved the swim up bar at the pool - and the fact it was at the opposite end (along with a divider) from the children's area. Super attentive and friendly staff, great meals, I didn't tire of the options at the buffet. The a la carte restaurant was lovely too. We did the all inclusive and it was definitely worth it. Expected Dharavandoo just to be a transit island with it's airport traveling to a resort nearby. We had chosen to spend a few days in the Biosphere guesthouse. The charming guesthouse itself, the wonderfull staff and the range of activities made us extend our stay with a few days. It's the perfect startingpoint for alot of affordeable (water) activities and also the island has alot to offer (inc nice beaches, snorkling spot's, sports- and playgrounds, restaurant (Krill is recomended!),... Overall, it’s an excellent place to destress or spend time w families or just a couple retreat! Very organized from the airport in Male to our final destination in the resort and vice versa. Says that you get transportation to the island. We paid for 6 nights and 5 days and got kicked out at 0300 am even though check out was at 1200. They made us leave 12 hours early because the free transfer was NOT free. We then had to sit and sleep in airports all day. They said we could pay an extra $289 per person to get the seaplane or we had to leave at 0300 and robbed us of a full day and have refused to reimburse us. In addition to this, my partner was drugged while staying there and the staff did nothing to help us or accommodate us. I would NOT stay in this place ever again!!!! It reads on their website that seaplane is free to island. They got us way late on the first day, and made us leave 12 hours early on the final day and have refused to comp us for the final day. I would NEVER stay here again nor would I recommend other guests to stay here. Everything was an additional upgraded cost, most activities were cancelled or non existent, or were additional costs. The beach is so clean without any plastics wastes and trash. The sand bank is so beautiful and waters are coming with so amazing colors. I believe everyone traveled to Fulhadhoo was amazed by its beauty and tranquility. I do wish Fulhadhoo keeps its identity as exquisite, exclusive and pure inhabited islands open for travelers without increasing any unnecessary commercials. Just one thing for this island, the East sand band is soooo beautiful with its own serenity but I don’t understand why almost every day someone is burning rubber trash nearby which makes the sunrise time and mid-noon amazing waters time so unpleasant.Guest review by鲁西西China - 10

Really paradise. Very calm and cozy place. Heaven for kids nad families - plenty restaurants, Kids club, Play place, Gym, sand-sand-sand, icecream-icecream-icecream, pool, and many thing to do... Excellent choice of food in the restaurant, beaches clean but varied from nice soft sand to gritty coral sand. The east side of the jetty the sea was choppy like a mill pond on the west side of the jetty. It's a 50 minute flight by Sea Plane from Male and absolutely worth it. The variety of fish when snorkelling, no bugs whatsoever. Stunning beaches. I would go there again in a heart beat. We did the half day excursion that includes visiting Tsunami Island, Dolphin watching, Snorkelling at a gorgeous Reef and a nice little lunch. Worth it! We also went to the H2O Restaurant (not sure if you can only do that if you stay at the Me & You Maldives Hotel). It's expensive but worth every penny. We liked almost everything.
We liked almost everything. Our vacation was relaxing and beautiful. The beach was perfect, with soft almost white sand and warm, clear blue water. The bungalow was was really cozy with sun set view.
