SpainWe had an amazing stay at Stone Beach Hotel. This hotel is a building separate from Stone Hotel which is in front of the beach (stunning) but you can use the facilities as it’s from the same branch. (Actually, this island could be called Stone Island).
Everyone in there was incredible, from Hotel Staff to Naahil from the dive center.
The inifinity pool is from another world.

The diving and snorkeling were absolutely breathtaking, with vibrant reefs and incredible marine life. Excursions were perfectly planned and full of unforgettable moments. The rooms were pure luxury – stylish, serene, and always offering stunning views.

Our highlight was the full day boat tour. We were able to swim/snorkel with whalesharks, mantas, sea turtles and many others. That was something very special for us. Don't miss out on this unique experience!

If you are planning on going to Ecoboo, the pack experience is 300% worth it! With this pack we were allowed to take part in all the activities without limitations. Apart from the 3 daily included meals (amazing and super delicious cuisine) and the two-way included shuttle, this pack offers you daily activities that are amazing and super well organized. The latter would not be possible without the amazing guidance of Shabeen and Inkey. They taught us how to snorkel, fish the maldivian style and dive with all the safety there is. Apart from this, they are super super careful about the ocean, the reefs and all the amazing animals that inhabit these dreamy blue and transparent waters - it is hard to find people like them nowadays, people that care about "their home".
Thinadhoo is a local island and Ecoboo offers you an amazing beach with transparent waters and a very rich house reef full of fishes and new corals. They provide snorkelling material free of charge with the pack, so don't worry!
Another very positive aspect is the staff! Without exception they are amazing, very friendly and helpful.
Overall, the hotel is cozy and comfortable with all the things you need in this all piece of paradise.
Definitely the best holidays we had so far and for sure we will be coming back as soon as possible!
Last, but not least a big thank you to Hugo, Serena, Fernando. From the welcome reception, to the organization, and for helping us whenever we needed.
All together, this makes Ecoboo a MUST GO, if you plan on going to the Maldives!

The breakfast was great with a good selection and great coffee/tea. They also had some really good options for dinner and a really great chef.The location was also decent as close to the ferry port. My favourite part of the hotel was the staff. The manager, Shaheen, and the team were fantastic! They were always helpful and cheerful and would be there to organise any trips (Whale Shark, Manta Ray's, etc) and would even come with you on the trip to make videos.
I cannot recommend this hotel enough if you are staying on this island.

It was an amazing experience! An island surrounded by greenery with white sand, clear ocean water, and the best accommodations. We stayed in the beach villa and the water villa. Living in both was the best experience. With the best service, fantastic food. Very friendly service staff. We had a wedding anniversary and the staff did everything to make the day beautiful: bed decoration, champagne, fruit. Thank you very much for planning the romantic candle dinner in the best way, for the super service and delicious meals. Special thanks to our waiter from Hot rock restaurant (unfortunately I forgot his name). Also a big thank you to Sobry, from the restaurant where we ate everyday. Also a warm greeting to your good colleague Mushtar. Many thanks to the entire team of the hotel for taking such care of the guests. The island was massive and had everything we needed from a la carte restaurants for date nights, watersports, great buffet food, pool areas, and even a go carting track.
From the moment you arrive, you are greeted with great hospitality. The staff are very kind and accommodating. We got there a little late and had missed our lunch and they still provided us food from the Cafe free of charge. Shortly after we got to our room and felt at ease. The journey is well worth it.
We spent time in the beach studio and Aqua Villa and absolutely loved both as they each offer a different but amazing experience.
Kandima also upgraded us to a honeymoon package free of charge. There are so many good things I can say about this place, the list goes on. 10/10 staff, 10/10 resort, 10/10 location, 10/10 food, 10/10 experience. The perfect honeymoon destination.

We had an amazing experience at Anantara Dhigu. Here the highlights:
-All staff were so welcoming and warm.
-Breakfast was rich full of yummy and also healthy options like kumbucha, chia puddings and all kind of juices you can imagine.
-Room was really clean and spacious. Bed and pillow were pretty comfortable and the shower was so good.
-Thai and Japanese restaurants were spectacular.
-Really convenient to go from Male Int airport since the have speedy boats working 24/7 and in just 35min you’re at the resort.
-The bikes to enjoy and explore the island are so nice.
-We saw so many marine life at the island’s beaches. Sharks, stingrays, turtles and so many different fishes.

This was my second stay at LUX and once again it was a truly special experience. We stayed in August, with wonderful weather, in a beautiful water villa overlooking the crystal-clear sea. The resort is enchanting: the island is large and well equipped, offering many facilities such as a gym, diving center, six restaurants and several bars. The international breakfast was excellent and served in two different restaurants. During our stay we dined almost every evening at Umami, the Japanese restaurant: outstanding food thanks to Chef Jester and impeccable service by Reehaan. I highly recommend trying it.

Stayed in the water bungalow and it was great experience. The glass in the floor to see the fish especially at night time was amazing.
You can snorkel in the reef just outside the island. The snorkeling gear was free if you stayed more than one night. The snorkeling was fantastic- so many fish including several smaller sharks that passed by the reef.
Great food and lots of choices. The staff was very helpful to accommodate food allergies (nuts and peanuts)
Everyone was very friendly and making your stay special.

Where do I start ? I have been to several One & Only resorts and can honestly say that the Reethi Rah is by far the best of them , every aspect of the property was superb. Absolutely visit th main Island, there lots to visit and experience. Food and people were fantastic. Beaches and activities are also great. There many different boat trips and Island flights, although expensive worth exploring. Its a dry Island so be prepared that theres no alcohol, when were were at airport to fly to Male the duty free are selling you alcohol so if you arrive with bottles etc in hand or checked in luggage its confiscated.

its Beautiful area and there is lot oto do in terms of awsum coral reefs, marine life etc. Only thing that was a bit of botheration was a one hour speed boat ride from airport. For someone with motion sickness, despite that boats are made luxurious to a level, this would be uncomfortable ride.

Maafushi is, overall, a great place – the people are friendly and welcoming. The weak point is definitely the services. When it comes to hotels, don’t expect luxury. In my opinion, for what you actually get, it’s overpriced.
One big plus is that Maafushi gives you more freedom. You’re not tied to a resort – you can move around, explore, go jogging if you want, and enjoy the island on your own terms. You can book trips easily, there’s stuff to do, and it doesn’t feel restrictive.

Hulhumale despite being busy like the rest of Male has an airy feel to it with lots of greenery - almost colonial. The East side is quiet for traffic although it's close to the seaplane flight paths - I didn't find that intrusive. The West side has the harbour with the ferry terminal and where the liveaboards anchor between trips. When I was there there had been a lot of recent building work so I would avoid staying there.
Lots of options for buying fresh fruit and vegentables if you need and a range of places to eat at different price ranges.

I loved the proximity to Male for ease of arrival and departure. I also loved looking at the city lights from afar, whilst being separated by stunningly turquoise waters and the gentle sounds of lapping waves. The marine life in the lagoon was plentiful and beautiful, and I had many marine visitors near my villa at all hours of the day. The snorkelling with sharks-excursion was probably the single best experience, but the resort itself was the star of the whole experience. The quality of the villa (amazing bed, wonderful toiletries from L'Occitane, the view, the constant refill of free fresh water and Nespresso coffee) and the rest of the resort (amazing food, world-class spa) was the stuff of holiday dreams!

The people that work there in the island are very genuine...
The people that work there in the island are very genuine and polite and helpful, always smiling. They make your time there very pleasant. Don’t forget to tip them. Jr and Anastasia from the club house coordinators are amazing and multi talented individuals. Don’t miss their daily sport activities by the pool.

An amazing snorkelling beach -no boats or travel required -just thousands of colourful fish and turtles, perfect white sand and palm trees. The concession stand sold delicious, fresh-picked fruit-watermelon, papaya, bananas. We loved the Coccoa beach restaurant and the Black Anchor and the Mango House had fabulous lattes and desserts.

We are a same-sex couple that travelled there for our honeymoon .This marvelous property sits on a beautiful island surrounded by an amazing reef. I saw sharks rays and turtles a few meters into the see from our cabin.. The food is great and their all inclusive premium includes activities and a session at the spa (or diving if you are certified). I would go back in heartbeat. The staff is sooo nice they definitely made our stay unforgettable, thanks to Shihus that made sure we were up to day during our stay and tended to our needs, Rai an Swarna and all the staff at booli bar and to Shirsti and Aahil and all the staff at the Raabondhi restaurant

The most beautiful sea I have ever seen in my entire life.
The most beautiful sea I have ever seen in my entire life. And mind you, I have visited many seas in many countries! For food, I recommend the restaurant at the Dhiguveli hotel and the Teapot restaurant. Getting around the island is very easy; you can reach any place quickly on foot. Don't miss going to the sandbank at one of the ends of the island.

We LOVED Dhiffushi!
We LOVED Dhiffushi! A real taste of a local island, the thing that struck us was how quiet and peaceful it was. We wandered everywhere on foot and loved that the roads are all sand. We were there in monsoon season and experienced some storms but they were short and everyone just gets on with stuff. There was some rubbish washed up on the non-hotel beach areas but most hotels keep their areas spotless. Both bikini beaches were absolutely stunning. Would definitely recommend Dhiffushi as a real gem of a local island. As an added bonus, we could not believe how cheap everything was too!
