Exceptionally great, friendly and professional staff. Dinners were really good. Nice hiking route from the lodge, there were also some animals like a zebra around the lodge, and also lovely housecats :)

A big 10 + for everything. The spacious tent, beautifully located in the most scenic landscape. With very comfy beds and a very short walk or drive from the lodge. The pools and the restaurant at the lodge are excellent, the staff is very friendly and helpfull. Higly recommended as a place to stay near Sossusvlei.

We had a perfect stay at Camp Gecko. The private nature reserve is mind-blowingly beautiful, and the tents are great. As many reviews have stated, get the delicious braai packs, and ensure you have plenty of time to enjoy sunrise and sunset at the camp.

Oh my gosh. This place was heaven. Blinder views. Fabulous food. Great bar. Everything presented in such a beautiful way. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. We'll come back for sure.

The fact that Kronenhof is located slightly away from the main routes is exactly what gives it its special charm. The private campsite is beautifully equipped with a spacious, luxurious bathroom and a large covered terrace. Just a short walk away, you'll find a small pool with refreshingly cool and clear water – perfect for relaxing. We were warmly welcomed and felt completely at home during our stay.
