Wonderful location on the edge of Giethoorn, providing parking and the opportunity to walk into the centre of Giethoorn with ease. We loved walking from one end to the other but you could easily cycle or take the car around the outside. Plenty of eating opportunities from ice creams through to a three course meal. Our stay was too short to enjoy the indoor swimming pool and sauna, which were impressive to look at. Breakfast was sumptuous with fresh orange juice and a wide selection of hot and cold food. Our spacious room had a large balcony and the bathroom a choice of two shower heads one of which was impressive in size. We stayed in Kampen whilst visiting Wildeberg festival in Kraggenburg, the town itself is very lovely, and the train station is easily accessible to get to Zwolle which is a town we visited for the day!
